These trunk support is not the right fitment for a 2005 cl 55 Mercedes Benz. I'd like to return them for the correct ones

Fitted them in seconds to my Mercedes CLK320 convertible. Work perfect. What a deal.

Installed without problem. They are kind of weak though. When I pushed the trunk lid release button on the remote it opens a gap but won't be open all the way up.

My trunk lids struts were 12 years older and completely useless. The instructions with these replacements were perfect and I had them replaced in just a few minutes. The CLK has a very small but heavy trunk lid. These new replacement struts assist and hold it up very well. I strongly recommend them as an option to more expensive and hard to find oem parts.

I really liked the struts.... And service. One was defective, but was replaced right away. Good quality struts and excellent service. This my original review, however I received a replacement strut, and within a week the other side strut snapped as well! Now I rate this product as unsatisfactory.I am now going to try and track down why I was never credited the price of these items. They were returned immediately, but seems it wasn’t processed

Worked perfectly on my Mercedes CLK350 (2007). Very easy to replace old broken ones and now the trunk springs open easily. Buying Mercedes parts would have cost a fortune and these are just as good or better.
