These light-up bricks are worth every penny to make a play-date special. The batteries last a long time. I have ordered these before and although I did change a couple batteries I would rather buy a new set because the process was tedious. Also the on-on process of the lights once in a while needs to be attempted twice. Still it is doable for my grandson and overall these rank 5 stars. Definitely giftable too.

These little bricks are a lot of fun for my 7 and 9 year old lego fanatics. The lights add some Dimension to their lego projects they’ve worked on. One of my kids builds his own creations and add the lights to his creations so he has a nightlight. There are a wide range of colors and our kids have enjoyed trying the different colors.

This after market light up bricks come with some ups and downs. So if you need a specific number of bricks and/or specific color counts please read on.NEGATIVES:• The bag I purchased should have had 40 - 2x3 light up bricks (plus 40 technic pins) with 5 each of 8 color/combos. The package I received was sealed and only contained 35 bricks (36 technic pins).• Of the 35 bricks received: 3 do not light up at all & one red one very faintly lights but doesn't stay on.• Additionally, the color count was also off, I received: 9 of the "rotating all colors", 3 yellow, 5 pink, 0 blue, 6 green, 5 white, 4 red/blue alt, 3 red.POSITIVES:• Of the bricks that light up, they are decently bright, and fairly true to color. The pink is more magenta (pinky purple) but that's fine with me TBH.• The brick studs and bottom stud receivers actually have decent clutch!• The technic pins included are the kind with a cross tip on one side & regular technic snap on the other end. The cross side slides into the brick and acts as an off on switch with a gentle rotation in each direction.• That being said, the clutch of the cross tip end of the technic pin isn't very strong/tight so do not depend on it to have a very functional clutch inside of the light up brick if you want to use the snap side onto any other Technic piece, don't plan to move it or expect for it to hold in an orientation against gravity. The snap end of the pin works really well with any Technic receiving piece though!Will update if the seller is willing to provide the missing bricks and replacements for the 4 that didn't light at all. Otherwise it's a buyer be aware of the QI issues.

I don’t have good or bad to say about these. We had several that didn’t work but most did. It’s very time consuming to turn each one in since you have to insert something in it and turn but it was cool for what it was I guess.

Overall very cool. There was one dud in the pack. They are a little hard to turn on but totally fine. I do wish there was an even amount of each. But score because we got more of the party flashing ones. I was hesitant to spend the $30 but is worth it imo. Very cool.

My five year old daughter and I stayed up way to late playing with these. I got these, a 1000 piece of clear and a lego transparent set.One of the pieces in the set didnt work well. I would love to see sets of multicolor transparent blocks to go along with the as well.

I like these alot but not all of them will light up. They are fairly easy to turn on but there should be more black pieces that are required to turn them on because when I took them out of the light socket the brick turned off leading be to believe that a black piece was required for each light brick.

There were a few broken pieces upon arrival but the seller sent replacements rather quickly. My son is in love with Legos and these have him so excited he uses them in all his builds. They stand up to a 8 year old so i have faith they will last quite a while.
