From 15 to 200 miles northwest of Moscow are the villages of Fedoskino, Palekh, Mstera and Kholui. It is in this tiny area that all Russian lacquer boxes crafted. Each village has its own style and favorite subjects: fairy tales, village scenes, landscapes and bouquets.
