ZIMMER Camping Toilet 5 Gallon Portable Toilet - Small Porta Potty with Big Performance for Travel & Outdoors (Brown)

My husband is an over the road Truck driver and my kids and I join him every now and then. This portable potty is super convenient for us, He has a mid roof semi truck and is pretty limited on space and this fits perfectly behind the passenger seat, the flush is manual but does the job. You fill the top part with clean water then all waste is on the bottom part which detaches and can be disposed. Super sturdy, not flimsy as I thought it was going to be. I really recommend this product! I also purchased the Porta-Pak scented bombs and I works wonders in not making our Truck smell like pure urine.

The pump had holes eaten into it and thus the toilet wouldn’t flush. This device was less than two years old. We were so disgusted that we threw it away.Original review: It would have been nice had this item come with instructions. No sooner than setting this up in the tent, the flush pull handle came off. The toilet worked OK, but the cheap construction of the handle made flushing the toilet difficult. How disappointing for a $70 item. While it isn’t rocket science to set it up, it would have been nice had this item come with instructions. You learn the hard way that, before flushing, you need to close the lid or the stuff splashes up.Finally, others reported the seller contacted for follow up. Not to us.Edited to add: This review was provided after buying this item and using it for eight days/nights of tent camping. The item was bought at full price without a discount for providing a review. I noted that many, if not most, of those incredibly positive reviews were done in return for a discount, leaving me in doubt that the manufacturer will be responsive.

when I received the portable toilet , the lid hinge was broken off - so I returned it , and promptly got a refund . Therefore I can't comment more , except to say that the seat and lid seemed quite flimsy upon first look .

It was a great size and it is what I was looking for but very disappointed that both side latches keep falling off (they go back on if you work with them but then just fall off again when used) . Also the front rod handle broke off with a loose plastic piece that wont go back on. I am using duct tape to make it functional. I would return it but because it is a toilet seems kinda gross after it had been used

It does the job. Basic and simple.

The straight forward simplicity and light weight of this portable toilet impressed me. I like that there are separate sealed compartment that keep all as hygienic as possible. Easy to clean and disinfect surfaces and sturdy construction. We are using it inside aTrillium 4500 RV and it stows away neatly.

Worth it's weight in gold. Bought this for a festival we were camping at because I hate public bathrooms and public portapotty's. (They are just gross.) We also purchased a shower tent, and we put this inside the shower tent. How wonderful! Very convenient, no odor, no public "gross" factor, easy to use in the middle of the night for those of us that have to get up in the middle of the night.

The product works as advertised and increases the convenience of camping trips, tailgates, and outdoor concert pre-parties! Used with a pop-up type blind, it makes for perfectly private privy. It's easy to set up and easy to clean. I suggest getting some deodorizing packets when you make this purchase.
