Nastia Liukin Beginner Hook & Loop Grips

These are good grips for my 8 year old who just mastered the kip. She is doing back hip circles, kips, and just starting a mini giant. These broke in well and are now very comfortable for her. Inexpensive and good quality leather grip!

I found the measurement guide unclear. Other brands measured differently- fingertip to base of the palm. All I know is once they came they were too small- WAY TOO small. Unfortunately the coach had her chalk up before identifying the issue. It was to be her first pair so we are complete novices at grips. These seemed so promising.

These were cheap price but a bit too big for my daughter even using the instructions recommended for sizing prior to purchase.

We previously had a different brand of grips that we paid about the same $$ for and they were horrible! We went through a big thing with the company over it and they offered no help. So, needless to say, I was very nervous ordering more online, but I do not have a local place to buy them. I didn't have a choice. Reviews for everything were mixed, but Amazon has always been great with customer service so I ordered them. The quality of materials is good, they are holding up very well, her coaches said that they seemed like a good product. She has had them for 6 months and they still have plenty of time left in them! Size chart was spot on for us. I know a lot of reviews said it was off, so I was nervous ... but they fit just right!

The grips came with information on how to break them in, enlarge the finger holes, and what not to do like wet them. From past experience, I would have wet the leather to get it to fit to her hand and that would have been a mistake. I was glad they included the information. I will be looking to them again in the future.
