No it didnt...though i havent taken off once put up...but on one instance i didnt paste it properly and it fell off without taking paint with it...its safe

haevnt tried it yet...but once it fell off as i couldnt put it properly and after putting again it got tight on the wall...so might be your query is true..

yes..do clean the space before putting up...hopefully space is not too oily or too much hot...about that i have no idea
