Household Essentials Set of Four Large Shoe Storage Boxes, Natural Canvas with Brown Trim

While these are not specifically made for boots, my size 8 boots fit in them, just barely. I had measured the height of my boots at exactly 16", so the length is fine. But the boots have to be inserted heel first (my boots are flat) with one, and boot top first with the other. The boxes fit ok on my closet shelf when turned short end out. To me, getting a set of 4 of these for same the price as 4 cardboard IKEA boxes is worth the little bit of extra effort. They do look nice on the shelf.

I used some of these for shoes and some for storage. They're sturdy and stackable, though I wouldn't recommend putting something extremely heavy on them.Two fit neatly into my entertainment center. One holds all of my video game remotes (Playstation, NES->Cube, Dreamcast, Xbox, etc) and the other holds all my cables when I've not got a system plugged in. Sometimes the magnetic door falls open for the one with the remotes in it but that's just because I overstuffed it (I have a lot of game consoles).They also comfortably fit my size 9 shoes (tennis shoes and heels are all I've used them for, I have a different box for boots).

I thought this would be a poor woman's replacement for the beautiful shoe boxes from the Container Store. Same principle - you don't have to unstack boxes to get at a pair of shoes... and you can see the shoes through the plastic fronts. The problem is the plastic front on these boxes is so cheap that the closet light glares off and you can't see if the shoes are blue or black. Still easier than unstacking boxes to get your shoes but with these I have to open the front on multiple boxes to find the right pair. They are cheaply made but have not fallen apart yet. So, how much do you want to save a buck?

Nice looking, however magnetic closure does not hold very tight and with any movement the little door pops open. It did hold all of my sport shoes and I use a 91/2 womens. They could be made much more sturdier, but they will serve its purpose and my closet looks organized just as I like it.

This item is soooo soooo perfect for "storing" house shoes by the front door. I have them under a table against the wall, where I used to just fling my shoes. Now they are hidden from view and visitors don't have to be subjected to stumbling over my slippers. They are large enough to fit probably 3 pairs of sandals or 2 pairs of house slippers.

I bought these boxes to replace the different size boot and shoe boxes so that I could more efficiently use my closet space. While they look nice and serve my needs, for the money I expected that the boxes would be sturdier than they are.

All my shoes are out of their store boxes and arranged neatly double stacked on the shelf above my clothes. Uncovered shoes get so dusty in a closet and these storage boxes protect them and make my closet look really organized. I also have the larger boxes for smaller handbags and boots that can be folded.
