RAMPAGE PRODUCTS Step Bars with No-Slip Step Pad | Pair, 3" Round Bent Steel, Textured Black | 8627 | Fits 2007 - 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK 2-Door

Came pre-scratched from the factory. The packaging was very good and there was no shipping damage so the bars were scratched at the factory in China, and then wrapped and shipped that way.The construction of the bars is extremely light, not sure what they are made of but they seem too thin walled and light weight to be any kind of steel. There would be no side impact protection from these and I imagine a very large person stepping on and off them would bend them eventually.The included hardware does not have the proper number of correct sized bolts for installation on Wrangler having the captured nuts on the body already present as did my 2012. In other words, they include hardware as if you do not have the captured nuts present, and the nuts and bolts included are a different size than OEM. On a 2012 Wrangler at least, you will need to buy extra bolts of the OEM size to fit in the OEM captured nuts that are under the body on the sides, for each of the four Smitty mounting brackets.Just as every other Smitty product I have purchased, the instuctions consist mostly of a lot of fuzzzy, blurry, photos.It is a shame because the Smitty products COULD be very nice but they cut corners, and use inferior Chinese materials and labor.
