Our son just turned six and he can’t get enough of this book, although it’s written so it can be enjoyed by older kids and I think it will remain a favor for years as he starts getting the different levels of storytelling and humor. The writing and illustrations really make the stories approachable for kids (and some of the more convoluted plot lines are actually more fun to follow as an adult too). The illustrations are really funny and the use of subtle to overt humor (and the occasional poop joke) makes it all very inviting.

Great reference to all kinds of figures in all kinds of mythologies. Entertaining , kid friendly and an antidote to schools who only try teaching one mythology

This book is so cool! I bought it to read to my kids and they love it! There are a huge variety of mythological beings, many of which I had never even heard of. I love the illustrations on each page and the aesthetic of the book overall. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Beautiful art and book, very interesting stories.The only thing I didnt like is that one of the pages was folded, maybe it was a mistake from the maker, other than this very nice.
