I was originally searching for another bulb for my second plant but after receiving this one, I disposed of the other bulb I had bought before this and used this bulb for both plants! Small light, a lot of Power. Doesn't hear up much at all so if you're looking for heat I wouldn't suggest this one but if you have your own way to supply warm temperatures to your plants then I definitely suggest this light! Would buy again if needed

Just got these (ordered two of the 30 watt) in the mail today and tested them out. Way brighter than I figured for such a small bulb!!! Setting up a small grow tent for veggies (lettuce, kale, onion, etc..) and seed starting and figured that I would need two of these. Thinking now that one is plenty!!! Will have to update this in a few months after seeing the results.*UPDATE*Here it is 1 1/2 years later and the first bulb is still working fine. I haven't had to use the second bulb yet, but it's nice to have a backup if needed!! I primarily use it for starting seeds for the garden and giving the house plants some extra light that they don't get in the winter. Very happy with this product :-)

I've recently gotten into the hobby of growing carnivorous plants. I have to say that I've had zero luck with any sort of plants in the past (I have no idea how I'm so terrible at it) but with this light I've had great success growing indoors. I have several varieties of small plants under this light and they've grown amazingly well over several months.It also does not generate much (if any) heat so putting it closer to plants is not an issue.

We have been using this bulb for about 8 months in our entry way to supplement our house plants from the filtered light they receive through the windows. Recently, the bulb has started to turn on and off randomly. As if it is set to some sort of long pulse flash. Would love to give it a try again, and have contacted the seller to see if the defective bulb can be replaced. Will update if replaced and/or if the replacement holds up to long term use.UPDATE: The manufacturer has agreed to replace the bulb free of charge. The process was as simple as a few emails and they are willing to provide a replacement to ship out ASAP. Simple and easy to work with, thanks!

I bought 2 of these with the goal of starting a small indoor garden during winter. I turn them on at night 8-10hours while the family sleeps so they are left alone. Light sits about 3.5- 4 feet above the plants. Huge disappointment! I planted lettuce and herbs in most my indoor pots and peas against the back wall. After 3 weeks they look confused. The plants have not developed past their initial sprout leaves. Just growing taller but no new leaves. Its as if they are stunted. Some Plants are green, others look like they are bleached out at the tips (see picture of chives). The light bulb must be missing a key spectrum color because it's not feeding the plants correctly.

Now this light has some serious power compared to the size. The company is professional, friendly, quick to respond, and have been more helpful than expected. Highly recommended for anyone looking for the best light for the money.

I tried to use this lamp, but it didn't seem to help much. I am not skilled at this...It was my first try growing indoors. I had it on the plants at a "safe" distance for eight hours a day...If that's not enough, I hardly think the electricity cost is worth the food grown, even if the plants looked fantastic, which after a few weeks, they simply did not... I took care to use not too much water, too, and used potted plants which were healthy outside as well as trying to start new seeds indoors, starting from under this lamp.

This full-spectrum grow light is a real bargain. I grow 28 different types of herbs and vegetables in my green house, and this grow light exceeded my expectations. Seedlings grew quicker than expected, and the grow lights help produce beautiful, healthy leaves, and abundant fruits. As a gardening expert, I'd expect to pay literally 5x as much for a grow light that works as well as this one!
