Removed clear coat oxide on truck
Most of the videos on YouTube about repairing damaged clear coat say to start with 400-500 grit. Those finer grits weren’t touching the stuff so I went down to 320 and finally to this. Yes, there are tiny scratches and probably still will be when I work my way back up to finer grits. But if you put your nose that close to my paint, I’m going to give you a friendly tap on the back of your head.
