Plug and play, looks identical to the original. No pairing process needed. Just put batteries in and you should get a response within a few seconds if your tv is off, or instantly if it’s on.All I did was use common sense and go by the part number on the bottom face of the remote, search for it here and presto! Only been a couple hours now and so far so good. I’d rather buy a name brand than universal cheap junk that I’d risk going bad soon, or not functional, or not compatible out the get. Spend a little more and cry once. Nothing to fuss about all jokes aside.Of course I tried new batteries first, and even tested all 4, and they all tested good; so I did some research prior to just buying a new one, which was only ~$6 at this time, and once I saw that my phone wasn’t picking up the ir light through the camera via some YouTube tips, from the remote, but there was still one at the bottom of the tv, I knew that my original remote was bad. Or at least the sensor in it that’s way beyond my circuit board knowledge. So I picked up the only remote I could find that was as oem looking as possible, and verified that the part numbers matched, and placed the order. I would even say that it works better than the original was in the end, so far. A lot of the time the original remote ended up being very laggy and delayed in responses. New one seems much more responsive.

I bought the universal remote a couple of years ago and it failed me when I needed it. The one I have now is the genuine remote made by Samsung. I am very pleased that this remote works just like it should.

What a great deal, my daughter lost the remote control battery cover so I was originally just looking to replace that, but what I found is the whole remote just exactly like my original, so pleased.

I am very pleased with this TV remote; it's the best one I've owned. Simply inserting the batteries and pressing the power button allowed me to immediately begin watching television. I highly recommend Samsung televisions.

The remote worked perfectly with my tv. You would never know it did not come with the tv. . It was also very easy to set up, all I had to do was put batteries in and it connected.

Right out of the package it work . No programming this remote. Got a new Samsung TV and the remote was so small. Use my remote from my old Samsung tv and it worked. Decided to order the same one and it worked perfect.

Quite frankly, I had my doubts it was actually going to be an OEM remote control. But, it looks like it is and works perfectly well.

Finally, this is the original manufacture's remote. Wasted money on the crap out there. This is the one that is super responsive and every button works right away with no programming. This is the one that matches my specific Samsung Smart TV. It says Samsung at the bottom (as pictured), but more importantly it says Samsung on the back battery cover. Beware of all the fake, knock-off replacement remotes. Don't waste money, buy this one from Samsung.
