If you have done wet application protectors before this is no different. It dried nice and clear. This version is supposed to allow for a case and it is a bit smaller than the actual screen, which is fine. I just wish the curved corners matched the shape of the screen. The edges also seem to get tiny fibers stuck on it. Photo is with the Poetic case on.

Pros:-fits well (holes align well, works with case )Cons:-wrinkly in several areas despite having been installed properly.-peeled off from inside the nook when being cleaned gently with a napkin, paper stayed stuck on the corner-gets tinted in the sunThe fact that it fits with the case as described is the only reason I'm giving it 2 stars. I've used this type of screen protector in the past and quality wise this is definitely the worst. Unless I got a lemon this is just not a very good option..

My wife and I have tried about 10 different screen protectors for the Essential PH-1. This one is by far the best. The wet application process is simple and easy. The protector covers most of the screen and leaves a bit of space in case your case encroaches. Unlike the glass protectors, this one actually works with the slightly curved display.

I love my Essential phone but finding a good screen protector was hard. I tried several tempered glass protectors and they did not fit well, with the edges coming loose and looking terrible. The IQ Shield sticks well, looks and feels great, is easy to install, and very scratch resistant. Plus you cannot beat the lifetime warranty.

I typically prefer tempered glass, but this phone is hard to find something that works. Thought I'd give this a shot. The first one I wrecked, IQshield sent me another and it just looks like garbage. I don't know what I am doing wrong, but the video makes it look easy and I don't think it should be this hard
