I spent most of my working life designing and using electronic equipment. When I started with this product family about three years ago I was hesitant. It was a little pricey, it didn't quite fit my needs in some respects. But I had tried the cheap stuff like Govee. And while their stuff isn't terrible, it isn't great either. Worst of all it requires Chinese software on your phone, and you don't have to be a student of global politics to know that the CCP/PLA can compel companies to put back doors and spyware in their software. And why wouldn't they, when it gives them great intelligence gathering, and toehold platforms for cyber attacks? So I was ready for something better, but I did not want to spend the next few months rolling my own solution. I cannot tell you how happy I am that I found Sensor-Push. It is rock solid reliable, and while the modules use a weird battery, it lasts a couple of years. At this point I have sensors monitoring everything from my pet poultry in their house, to the return air in my HVAC system. I have five sensors that are used to monitor dry aging of meat, yeast and sourdough ferment production and storage, bread-making, and I soon plan to add monitoring of my steam injection oven, espresso machine, and coffee roaster. I am using a couple of their Bluetooth to Wi-Fi gateways, which not only keeps me from encountering any out of range problems, but it also lets me check on things from anywhere in the world.But wait, because I buried the lead. Today is Sunday. This morning I decided to send them an email about special requirements I have and things I would like to see in the future. I figured I would here from them later next week. Within the hour I had a reply from a knowledgeable, helpful, friendly guy. And the answers I received were excellent "can do" answers. Now I have been involved in electronics professionally since 1975, and as a hobby, from about age 11. I remember the time when I could pick up the phone with a problem and wind up talking first to a sales engineer, and ultimately to the guy who designed the IC or other component - but it has been a lot of years since things worked that way. Today reminded me of the excellence I used to encounter daily in the 1980s. So if you are considering an application that these folks can meet, and you want a rock solid product with software that doesn't make you cringe when you install it on your phone, I will recommend Sensor-Push without hesitation. And if you don't see what you need in their lineup, send them an email. I can't promise a Sunday reply, but this is a company that wants to meet the needs of its customer base. They have a good thing going and it seems logical that they will expand their offerings over time. So yes, I am a fanboy, but using the product and being very satisfied is my only connection. Nifty little tool. Using primarily for hatching chicken eggs as I questioned the accuracy on my nutureright 360 and ovabator incubator. I like the data plotting for average temp which is important. The app works great and is very easy to set up and use. I checked accuracy of the unit with a heavy ice bath and it read 31.7F after stabilizing around 15 minutes in. This is within the manufacturers specs of 0.36F. Its not an instant or quick read if thats was youre looking for it takes a few minutes to stabilize at its surrounding temps. Humidity seems to correlate with another hygrometer nearly exactly. Made in USA, would buy again if I find another simultaneous need.

Excellent! Helps me with my hvac jobs greatly! And it has a nice distance it connects from. Also stores the results even after you walk away. When you come back all results from the time you left enter back into the log! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

I ordered a gateway and 4 of the HT.w sensors. The gateway setup easily. The app and online dashboard are both very nice. One issue I had was that one of the four sensors did not work. I swapped batteries with a working sensor and it would still not connect. A little disappointing, considering this is one of the most expensive sensors of this type on the market and is made in the USA. I checked the battery with a meter after it would not connect and then again after a couple hours and the voltage dropped by 0.4 v. There is obviously some sort of internal problem. Will return this one and order a new one. I hope this is just an infant mortality issue and not a long term quality issue.....

Works well. App is well laid out

Fed up with Govee and their lack of customer service I switched to this. Made in the USA with actual support. The problem with Govee? They don’t alert you. Not me anyways and customer service just gives me the run around wanting order numbers and all sorts of nonsense until finally they ignore my replies. So I assume Govees do not alert you in any way. There is an alert in the app side, but if your app isn’t open? You have no idea your fridge shut off and all your food is spoiling.These…Why are they better? Actual notifications and alerts. A better app. Much more in-depth but at the same time intuitive. I like the design better. It has a battery door. No included lanyard for the hole in it though. One point for Govee. Made in the USA! Sure it costs more but better things do.I would look at it like Apple vs Android, but even worse really. Personally I can’t stand android. Nothing is easy. It’s not fluid and seamless like apple. It’s not as polished and finished. So if you want to do 75% of what this can do and save some bucks by all means buy the Govees. If you want quality and actual usability? Buy these and don’t look back! They are the real deal and not knockoffs. It’s clear Govee tried to copy these and failed.
