Exactly what I needed
I was trying to find the particular combination of the ends used on this cable at local retailers but none of them had it in stock. The price point was also better on Amazon. I was trying to use this cable to adapt a charger and it worked perfectly.

Worked fine slightly extending the cable for power
I had an electronic device all wired up with a micro USB which gave it power and it was slightly short. Instead or redoing the wiring I used this to extend the cable to so that the device could get power. No issues and the wire durability is solid and fitment was perfect.

may lenthen the life of my netbook
I'm so glad I bought this. It may give my netbook longer life. The daily plugging in was taking a toll on my computer's connector, so I was concerned about ruining the thing. So this is plugged into the computer and is going to stay there. When I unplug it, I'm leaving this attached to the computer & unplugging between it & the charger cord. Who cares that now the netbook has a 2foot tail?

Extender for specialty
I purchased this for just a little bit more cable and a more easily replaced wear plug by using connect and disconnect plugging when removing device. Easier to replace cable than internal device connection.
