Xcluder Low Profile Pest Control Door Sweep (48 in)

I bought this sweep because it was one of very few available that is made in a 48 inch width. I have a 42 inch wide door on my old house and I needed to stop cold air from coming underneath the door. This sweep is very sturdy and well made. Although the instructions say to put it on the outside, I had to install it on the inside of the door. The sweep is much too stiff to allow the door to open properly when mounted on the outside. Mounted on the inside, the sweep does a fine job of sealing drafts out. The sweep is pretty expensive, but should last for a very long time.

This is well made and sturdy and I'm sure it would most definitely keep rodents out. Unfortunately our concrete floors are so uneven we couldn't get this to fit the door properly - it scraped to much on the high end and left a gap on the low end. Since we tried to hard to make it work, it is not returnable.

Ordered a larger size that was "used" saved a lot and just cut with hack saw to fit.

very heavy duty, work well in a sandy situation, not hurt by grit.

Very pleased with this door sweep. Really sturdy and well made. No way a mouse will chew through this. Easy to install. Highly recommend if you need a well made door sweep
