Best Breakfast
I'm not a big body builder or anything. I'm just a girl that likes going to the gym. But I'm also a girl that likes donuts and tacos. I know if I have a decent breakfast, the odds of my food choices going off the rails is minimized.I have one of these for breakfast on work days. I use water and BlenderBottle Classic Loop Top Shaker Bottle, Aqua/Aqua, 28-Ounce Loop Top. When I first bought it and was putting it in the shaker bottle, it was super clumpy and I panicked that I had this big box of protein powder and it was terrible. I experimented with how I was filling the bottle and discovered the secret is putting a bit of water in the bottle (so that most of the ball is covered) then you add the protein powder then top it up with water. I also give it a vigorous full body shake which I'm sure must be entertaining to watch. I recognize I could easily scoop out protein powder from a container in the morning however I am not a morning person. Having this pre-measured in a packet is so handy. Sometimes it is worth it to pay for convenience.Overall, I really enjoy the chocolate flavour. I'd like to try the vanilla but I'm scared I won't like it. Ha! The chocolate doesn't have a fake taste like other protein powders do. It's rich and thick. I also love the added vitamins. I drink it on my drive to work around 7:15 am and I start getting hungry for lunch around 11-ish so it keeps me full for a while. Also, I'm lactose intolerant and this does not cause any discomfort for me.I'm almost done my first box of these and will definitely be ordering them again.

Good stuff. Tasty, but you need to watch how you mix it.
I have been a fan of MET-Rx products for a while. I used to carry around the Big 100 Colossal Apple Crisp bars...usually, one for breakfast and one for lunch, but they never kept me that full. My problem was I would snack throughout the day because I felt compelled to eat something. Anyway, this stuff works great. You have to watch how you blend it though. Here's how I mix:1. Put about 10oz of water in the BlenderBottle.2. I add a scoop of Amazing Grass Chocolate Drink Powder, and then about half of the Met-Rx packet.3. Drop the blender ball in, shake it quite well for about 20-30 seconds.4. Add 10 more ounces of water, add the remaining Met-Rx powder, and then shake for another 20-30 seconds.5. I make this the night before, throw it in the fridge, and the following morning for breakfast I have what is essentially chocolate pudding.I have been doing this for about a week. My digestive system is slowly trying to get used to this product. I have heard it causes cramping and some minor stomach issues, but those are slowly going away. I feel full for several hours from one of these. I "drink" one of these shakes at about 4:15 every morning and by 9 or so I get slight hunger pains. I then snack on some cashews or something, but am not able to eat very many before I feel full again. I snack lightly every few hours until about 5 or 6 in the evening, which is about the time I eat dinner. I am not exactly starving, but I can tell that since I've started drinking these, I don't feel like I need to eat as much...so that's a plus, considering that was always my problem. Try to find a buddy that drinks these and see if you can get a packet just to try it out, this type of product isn't for everyone.

Great Product
Use two packets a day and I've lost 50+ pounds in the past 7 months. Have to put in the work in the gym, and eat other healthy meals too, but this stuff is great for on the go. It doesn't mix well in a shaker bottle, so I recommend mixing it. I mix two every morning in my Ninja. I store them in the fridge at work, but that tends to make it more thick...almost like sludge, so try to take it out of the fridge an hour before, or just leave it at room temperature all day. I mix mine with water, because I'm trying to lose weight, so I don't want the extra calories from milk. I've never tried it with milk, so I can't comment on that. It seems expensive, but if you break it down, it's about $2.24 for a meal. Before I started losing weight, I was drinking 3 sodas a day at $2 a bottle, so I think it's a fair trade off. Comes with a ton of Vitamins and minerals. Will hold you off from being hungry for about 2 hours...maybe a little more. I used MetRX back in the early 90s in my younger years. I switched to Myoplex, as I was a big Bill Phillips fan, but once EAS quit manufacturing Myoplex, I made the move back to MetRX, and feel it's a quality product.
