Oh, this food mill is a kitchen marvel! As a seasoned cook, I appreciate tools that make life easier. This stainless steel mill is sturdy and easy to clean. It's a real plus. When I was younger, I didn't mind tasting all of the textures of the soups I made. Now, I sometimes like a thick puree. I can make it anyway I want with this food mill. It makes the smoothest applesauce for children and the best tomato sauce for my Sunday dinners. The different grinding discs are a blessing; they are perfect for everything from mashed potatoes to jams. It takes the work out of making purees. And it's so much better than those old-fashioned hand-crank models I used to use. This food mill is a keeper, a true asset for any cook!

I'd purchased the food mill and is an awesome product ! It is extremely easy to use, high quality stainless steel and I'd consider professionally made for consumers.Well, I'd lost the smaller grinding disk used for tomatoes. After reaching out to Hungry Artisan via the Amazon link, Customer Service went above and beyond my expectations. I'd asked for a replacement grinding disk and they are sending me the three piece grinding disks to me for free and no shipping.In the future, this is the company I will purchase products from; period. I'd HIGHLY recommend Hungry Artisan as they are an awesome company looking out for their consumers.

I wasn’t sure if using a food mill would improve my tomato sauces because I thought using an immersion blender would be the same. Boy was I wrong! Whole tomatoes definitely have their place, but the rich authentic sauce I was going for was due entirely from using this food mill. I make weekly pizza and I simply place the food mill on my pot and throw the tomatoes in. It’s super easy to assemble and clean. I removed one star because it isn’t easy to hang onto while you’re rotating the handle- the mill slides and moves around and I can’t get a good hold on it to brace it. Maybe if there were rubber stoppers on the feet to grip the pot? I’m not sure. But it’s very sturdy and well made and I’m glad it is dishwasher safe as well. I hang it from my pot holder when not in use.

I just used it this morning. Came packaged in a nice box. I love the ease of use. Stainless steel. Had no problems with it. cleaned up easy and put it in the pantry. I'll use it again tomorrow for more tomato canning.

I purchased this product because I want to make pasta sauces and also jellies. In making jellies, you need to squeeze out the pulp and seeds. In making pasta sauces, the seeds and skins of the tomatoes are filtered out.The quality stainless steel material along with the ease of grip design while using I believe makes this food mill a great buy.

Just like in my Nona’s house standing on the chair spinning the handle to process homemade sauce. We made a Ragu with hot Italian sausage and fresh tomatoes. Worked easily and effortlessly stainless steel was an easy wash. Thank you and God bless
