Excellent idea but didn't work with Cogeco
Loved the idea of reducing clutter and was very easy to install to only realize that Cogeco doesn't accept it

Easy to setup
I upgraded from a SBG 6700 to a SBG 7400 using Xfinity ips. After the unit powers up I opened the Xfinity app (turn WiFi off ) on iphone and scroled down to where it says Got new equipment to set up. Followed the instructions to add the make (Arris ) and entered the MAC ID. It said Lets get started. After a few minutes I had internet connection. Hope this helps.
