Skar Audio introduces its SK series of line-up of high-performance subwoofer enclosures to bridge the gap between competition-grade quality and universal fit pre-fabricated enclosures. The SK3X12V is a triple 12-inch, universal fit, ported subwoofer enclosure. Featuring three independent subwoofer chambers, we engineered this enclosure to produce incredibly accurate and responsive low-end frequency response. In addition, each chamber features its own slot port alongside the bottom of the enclosure, which is tuned for the optimal compatibility and performance of most 12" drivers. When setting out to offer a line-up of premium, universal fit, subwoofer boxes, the end goal was to deliver a final product that was unlike anything else available on the market; setting new standards for quality and performance. That being said, all of our enclosures are hand built using only the finest materials. On top of its outstanding craftsmanship, this enclosure is also braced for extreme strength, and can handle even the most brutally powerful subwoofers. Internally, we line several walls of the enclosure with poly-fill to enhance the overall versatility and depth of sound that this enclosure reproduces with any given subwoofer. Each subwoofer chamber also features independent terminal cups, which come pre-soldered and wired internally with 16 gauge speaker leads that allow for an easy subwoofer installation. Finally, the enclosure is finished in a premium black trunk liner carpet and features an embroidered Skar Audio logo on the top surface.

Looks great
Haven't installed yet, but no damage, great looking. Whoever wrote its particle board doesn't know what they are talking about. Definitely mdf, there is a little piece of maybe particle boars, I don't think so, but it's a 4 or 5 inch piece that makes the port an L. So it's not as thick as rest but it still helps with bracing and tuning. Amazon does say 3/4" mdf, but skar site says the faceplate is 3/4" and boc is 5/8" mdf. Didn't measure, and maybe faceplate is 3/4" or maybe they used to do it that way and changed it nit sure yet, but it would be nice if they fixed Amazon description if it is 5/8" like their site says. I got the 10" box, and was iffy on buying 5/8" but it's plenty sturdy for 10's. Definitely would buy again and if sounds bad will update, but the fact they give a tuning frequency leads me to believe it will be fine for my RF p2's

Surprisingly a really good enclosure
This is one of a few enclosures that I have bought that I did not have to modify to get speakers to fit in. I have installed a pair of Infinity Kappa 800's and they fit like a glove and the sound is very good. The speakers connectors and wire that where included are not the greatest, but I have installed better wire and soldered them to the connectors.

Very nice enclosure!
I must say, I really can't give this one any cons at all for the price. An actual good deal. Got 2 infinity kappa 800w in it, and I'm quite happy with it.

Great Box!!!
My factory sub needed to be replaced in my GX470, the options were limited and didn't offer any better sound than the factory. I had an old school original Kicker gold leter 8" free-air in the closet so I looked around and found this box. Installed the Kicker in the box and wired it to the factory amp, it sounds GREAT! High quality box, my only complaint is that it didn't have terminals to connect to the speaker, only bare wire so I had to search all my hiding spots to find a couple connectors.
