This is a aftermarket replacement battery for the Milwaukee 58-11-0100 battery. It offers higher amp hour capacity as well as lithium technology over the NiCad OEM battery.I did not have any issues with charging this batter with the Milwaukee supplied charger. It did get warm, but that is to be expected. The battery seems to last longer than the OEM battery on a given charge. Time will tell if it holds up. I was able to purchase two of these batteries at a lower cost than one OEM brand.

Needed a replacement for my two VERY old stock batteries which were NiCad. These are cheap and are NiMH with longer run time and the fit is identical. Very fast delivery too. I was worried I would have to spend as much on a new OEM battery as I paid for the whole tool (the coldless screwdriver made by Milwaukee). I thought it might be better to just get a replacment but I loved the design of the one I had...so went for the battery sold here...glad I did.

good price but seems to have a high self-discharge so it it need to be recharged often even w/o use

Closet I've found to the original equipment battery. 4 stars because it gets kind of hot while charging otherwise it fits my screwdriver perfect and holds a decent charge. Would buy another one.

Correct form, better fit, and longer function.

As I charged this battery in the original Milwaukee battery charger, the unit became incredible hot and stayed very hot for a long time after removing it from the charger. Unfortunately the return policy limits to 30 days , so I have to pay for disposal on top of a bad battery. For some reason I thought I was getting a Milwaukee battery, not a knock-off, or I would have passed on the purchase.

Vary low power. Screw drive runs slow and with low power. I got 2 and both are the same way.
