Pretty disappointing....
Mechanically it holds my phone good, and it's turn and adjustable design works. BUT it won't stay suctioned down longer than a day! That drives me nuts! It's basically useless if it will un-suction without notice. I'm pretty darn bummed. Noooo it's not the surface. It's a smooth surface with no gaps.

Not worth the money
Worst phone holder I have ever purchased. Worked for about 4 days and then the stickiness failed off of the windshield. Cleaned area again and remounted and the holder fell off in about 10 minutes. This time, the grabber portion apparently broke and it would not reopen. I think it is because of the Texas heat but I really wouldn't recommend you wasting your money.
