This is one of those products that does exactly what it says it will do and nothing else. The base feels a little bit cheap, but it holds Edison light bulbs very well. I also like the switch to turn it on/off, very responsive and not right next to the base. Way smaller than a regular table lamp but provides equal amount of light, so it is good for space saving. Also looks cute!

This works well as a mobile lamp. I use it in my rental with a smart plug to keep the place looking lived in. I like the stable base that prevents it from falling over onto the carpet. It also looks modern if you want to use it in a more permanent manner.

I have bought these many times as lamp bases for my gourd shades. It is an excellent low profile minimalist light base for many uses. Has a cord that is plenty long and a toggle switch for ease of use. I’ve probably bought about a dozen of these to sell with my gourd lampshades and I’ve never received a defective unit.
