These are a bit on the short size (length) I would have got the ones that are twice as long and cut them to what I needed, I will know next time, they do work well though.

I love this heat shrink (also called dual-wall heatshrink) as it gives additional mechanical strength to the joint due to the adhesive that lines the inside wall. The adhesive softens with heat and will form a small fillet at each end of the heatshrink. This holds the wire sheath firmly at entry and exit points and all along the length of the heatshrink, making it far less likely that the soldered joint will break due to mechanical issues due to things like the wire being pulled.
