Great Taste!

Not quite as good as the Lan Chi "Chili paste with garlic" we used to buy.
For years we've been using a product called "Chili paste with garlic", made by Lan Chi. It's been a staple for much of our spicy Chinese cuisine. Unfortunately, Lan Chi is gone.This Lee Kum Kee is not bad, but our taste buds tell us it's not the same. Can't quite describe it, other than to say it has more of a tangy flavor than what we've come to enjoy.We may be forced to use this from now on, and we'll probably get used to it. But it's no Lan Chi. Just saying.
