I find the card is somewhat dull in appearance. The words inside are appropriate, however, it does not make allowance for if you're giving the card after the New Year has started. It speaks to the year "to come"

I purchased this pretty box of cards for the new year 2016. I placed them on the the desk of all of my co-workers in my department and I've noticed that they are still displaying them.
