pretty good
This is my first high-powered electric toothbrush, my first being a panasonic portable brush that was the about the size of a mascara tube. I like my old toothbrush, but this brush is superior in its cleaning ability. My husband has a plug sonic care toothbrush and he said that his had a learning mode on it, which would be nice, because I found this brush a little hard to get used to. I use it on the lower setting, but if I don't have the brush in my mouth before I turn it on, I lose all my toothpaste. After using this brush, I've found that my teeth feel as clean as when the dentist does a cleaning. It's really amazing how good it works. I see on one of the questions asked about this toothbrush, is about replacements and the answer is that there will be replacements soon. The brush does come with extra brushes, but I'd like to order more so I hope they have them by then. I prefer a battery powered electric toothbrush just so I don't have the messy charger sitting out all the time, and for travel. This brush didn't come with a cap for the brush, so it might not be too good for travel. That's something they need to address. So, if it had a learning mode, replacement brushes, and a cap to put over the brush for travel, I would have given it 5 stars.

Cheap and good when it works - but not well designed
On the plus side: Does a good job when it works, doesn't cost much, and doesn't take up too much space. However, no matter how carefully you install new brush heads, moisture gets into the toothbrush, and you find it's inoperable until it dries out. Mine finally quit working altogether. I'm replacing it with another brand that has a charger in the base, rather than batteries in the toothbrush. Seems a poor design for something intended to get wet twice a day. I won't be buying a battery-operated toothbrush again.

Good deal for the money.
The toothbrush was as expected. It is battery operated and has a smaller brush head, similar to the newer SoniCare toothbrushes. At it's highest setting, it has about 50% of the power compared to a SoniCare. That said, it did clean my teeth quite well for the price, and the quality was better than expected. It'd be a great extra toothbrush for an adult, or starter toothbrush for a child.

Great Sonicare Replacement
This is a great replacement for the discontinued Phillips "Extreme" ultrasonic toothbrush that uses replaceable batteries instead of an internal (irreplaceable) rechargeable. I don't want anything else plugged in in my bathroom so having a true ultrasonic toothbrush that runs on inexpensive and readily available alkaline AA batteries was a big selling point. It has a robust brush action, a two-minute timer and pulsing reminder every 30 seconds to tell you to move to a different quadrant of your mouth. The other good news is that the replacement heads are quite a bit cheaper than they ones used by the Phillips brush.

Good product.
Head could be a bit bigger but overall good electric toothbrush. Had to get used to the buzzing, as it is quite strong compared to Crest Spinbrush. I don't see it as a whitening product, but I have used a natural whitening toothpaste for years prior to using this.

vibrates, does not spin, so it tickles a bit and takes some getting used to. My daughter still enjoys using it.

Three Stars
Better than a traditional brush, but not as good as a Sonicare. You get what you pay for.
