Not really for a 2000 model but it can be done
If you are buying this for a 00 through 02 I think. You will have to make some slight modifications. And for the love of God don't try to slam the hood down without removing the piece of metal that is under the grille, between the headlights. You may shatter your new grille. However, this really is an awesome looking grill. I love the look/style. Would definitely buy again.

Not worth it
I bought this through amazon warehouse and sent it back because the previous person to purchase this clearly abused/broke it. Aside from that, you can tell this thing isnât made to fit well. I would definitely not purchase this particular grill.

Sweet grill!
Super nice grill, exceeded my expectations...comes with stainless hardware... high gloss frame and grill... the black rectangle you do not see when hood shut. This is where the hood release attaches to. Canât beat the price. Stock grill is ugly...only bummer is that itâs black.

Doesnât fit 1st gen tundra
Itâs a nice grill... unfortunately the sent me something for a totally different truck... this thing is enormous. Definitely not for a first generation tundra. Sending it back đ

Does not fit 2000 Tundra. Arrived with broken tabs.

Garbage do't buy
I bought this item 6 months ago for my 05 tundra limited , I added lettering and a TRD emblem, I finally got around to installing it last week, what a pos, I should have know better, I destroyed it when taking the lettering and badge off it, so I can't return it, don't buy this piece of crap, lesson learned , try it before you modify it.
