Check out the difference in height. Would you trust this replacement with your pricey shark?

Most of the filters fit perfectly on my shark auto empty. However, the foam filter that goes in the docking station is way too short. I had to chop one in half and use 1.5 replacement filters. Not a huge deal, since I found a workaround, but still too expensive to need a workaround. Will try another brand next.Pro tip: run the foam filters through a quick wash in the washing machine and let air dry to clean.

The foam cylinders are too short. That's why I took off stars for "thickness". They BARELY cover the vent holes. Otherwise, the parts are pretty decent.

The filters are fine but the brushes shed bristles and are bare after 1-2 weeks. I've ordered brushes through other vendors and they will last a few months.Not sure if it's just my unit model but the cylinder filter is a half inch too short for the holder. The original was 3in and the replacement is 2.5in tall. I went direct to shark and had the same issue. I am thinking shark changed the design at some point and I have the model that takes the 3in. I just used duct tape and taped of 3/4 of an inch of holes in the holder so the 2.5 works.

Like everyone else the Foam Filters are way too short. Returned.

Base unit filter to short about 20% shorter than factory filter. Does not cover entire area dirt gets past it.

Purchased these after our vacuum started to smell when it would empty its bin. So much cheaper than buying from Shark directly. Smell is gone and suction power is still great.The one small thing I noticed that doesn’t seem to be a concern is the sponge like cylinder filter isn’t as tall as the OEM one. As long as you don’t push the filter all the way down it will cover all the airflow holes and filter that. You just have to pay attention to the positioning when installing that one. Other than that, all the other filters fit perfect.

The foam filters are too short to covet the whole space so it lets dirt through.
