A great filler
I bought the Milliput putty to repair a terracotta figure. It is great for filling the cracks and holes once the figure was glued together. I found it was not good for sticking pieces together. The milliput is best smoothed and shaped while wet although you can sand it but the colour changes so take note if you are trying to get a match. It has dried rock hard and I feel confident it will last for a long time. I over painted the putty with exterior masonry paint and it covered the repair with 2 coats so I am very happy with the product and the result. A little goes a long way I found.

Good but has one big draw back
This is amazing stuff but with one drawback. I bought it to repair a terracotta moon face. His chin had broken off so I moulded a new chin on to him, perfect. Left him to dry out and then began to sand the new part. The lovely rich terracotta colour, which was a perfect match, turned to a very pale colour so it no longer matched the rest of the moon. Very disappointed with this. Otherwise, it's very easy to use. Need water on your fingers to aid the moulding into a good shape. Dries rock hard for sanding. I think you need to try to do any moulding to a perfect shape so to avoid sanding!!!

An Essential item for the Toolbox
So many uses for this epoxy filler - easy to use if you have ever played with plasticine ( a mixing tip - roll in your hands to thin strips and twist together before reforming a ball and repeating the process - the twisting speeds up mixing). Very useful for running repairs to boats - where screws are loose push into screw holes then tighten loosely. When dry screws can be tightened. Local damage to GRP or wood can be easily repaired and drilled/ sanded/ polished. Love it

Brilliant buy!
This product was recommended to me by my local hardware shop. I used it to repair a large & very treasured (& expensive!) terracotta planter. I had to do it in 3 sessions due to the weight. One tip! Cut & use in small amounts until you get used to handling it! Very pleased with my repair...a brilliant buy!

Great product that does what it claims
I used the epoxy putty to reinforce the base which had to be glued back on to this water feature. Reading previous reviews I decided to give it a go. So glad I did. It’s a brilliant result and saved me having to buy a new terracotta pot at some £300.
