Thermal Zero TZ31847-B Universal Turbo Blanket - Custom fit turbo shield for internal wastegate T25 and T28 size turbine housing - USA Made

I bought a black one they sent a gold color one. It fits my eBay gt30 turbo with a .48 ar exhaust housing. It smelled bad at first but went away after a day. It isn’t getting hard or anything like the cheaper ones so far.

First off...it took 6days to come from Ohio to Maryland...which coincidentally is the same time walking it. Why was it sent USPS "2 day priority"??Anyways awesome product, little bulky and tedious in my particular custom application with a GT2554r. Since I am on the small end of the fitment spectrum I expected this. Clears the wastegate actuator fine. Surrounding engine parts are definitely cooler then my previous stainless heatshield. Plenty of retention wire to secure it..however I plan to replace that with springs eventually.Hey TZ...if you have a unit thats like 80% the size of this one I would gladly buy it to replace this one for a tighter fitment.Overall very happy and its working well so far. I was actually surprised to notice my boost threshold was actually improved!.

I bought this blanket to install around a smaller 12a turbo on my Conquest Tsi. It's not a perfect setup for the turbo but it works very well (not meant for this turbo design, so I don't blame the blanket itself). Installation only took a few minutes and there is no interference with the wastegate arm. Plus, it does a great job as keeping underhood temps down. I would recommend this blanket to anyone.

Fit turbo perfectly. A little tegus to install but got it installed. It DOES keep engine compartment cooler, lots cooler and also engine coolant temperature cooler and also improved performance and running of the engine. Thanks a bunches

Excellent quality for the price, works well, fit my EFR 6758 nicely, so should fit the 6358, and 7163 as well since they use the same housing. I purchased some springs to keep it in place instead of using the supplied wire.

Great blanket for the price....not the cheapest out there that's why I went with it. Still cool to the touch after driving aggressive!

Not the greatest quality. it had already fell apart. The buttons that you use to secure it on fell off. so it feels like I wasted my money on this product. now I get to spend even more to buy it agen. Tried contacting the vendor but never got a response.
