Seems to be built well and looks very nice. We hate those hooked handle ones that are have out now and have had for quite some time because you can get your coats and dresses hooked in on the handle and torn! This is a keeper if it lasts.

These type of door latches and dead bolts are impossible to find locally! Dead bolt on existing door stopped functioning and needed a replacement ASAP ... Amazon Two-Day shipping ... Ideal Security saves the day ... customer is pleased with new hardware and ability to lock door when leaving the premise which was a big security issue!The door hardware installed easily enough ... as you know with this type of hardware, it will require some test fit-ups, shimming, and tweaking to get things just right (standard procedure with door hardware). Side note ... just pay attention to the length of hardware if your replacing existing hardware ... makes the job go much quicker!Hardware seems to be of good quality ... no complaints there ... templates were spot on from what I could see (we used some of the existing hardware to speed the install up) ... overall, no complaints!Just a minor note to Ideal Security .... please include more clear plastic shims with the kit (dead bolt and inside handle) ... one shim doesn't always get the job done ... most jobs require at least two minimum or more especially for existing installs or issues that don't allow the latches to be moved forward!

Nice looking and works well once you get it installed properly. It was a real PIA to get it to fit correctly. Glad we bought it though. This style is hard to find and it looks and works wonderfully.

I installed this on a new EMCO door. I like the fact that the opening lever is a pull and not a turn.

Worked perfectly as stated in the specifications. I have a storm door which probably is 20+ years old (I am 2nd owner of the house) and was having trouble finding a lock set for it in any store or online. Came across this and measured my installed lock with the specs on this on amazon and bought this. It came in perfect condition and installed perfectly with no additional holes to be drilled etc. Looks great and the gold/brass finish looks amazing.

Wasn't sturdy enough for door

Purchased for our storm door in the front of our house. Installation could have been made a lot easier, here are the cons:1) The metal piece in between both parts that turns the lock; manual says that you "snap" it to the length that you need, but it was not easily resized even though it had been scored. I ended up using a grinder.2) Another improvement would be the length of the deadbolt. It's rather short, so it limits how far you can place both the doorknob and the lock. You will have to install this lock very close to the frame of the door in order for it to lock.3) All screws (various lengths included with packaging) were too long for the doorknob. Which is odd since the set is meant for storm doors; I have a typical Larson brand storm door, nothing special. I ended up using screws I have.Pros:1) Drill templates.2) Attractive.3) Cost.Would recommend, but the installation could be so much easier.

replacement of a missing set, it's well made, sturdy. Took a little time and patience to align the parts while installing. Good value for the money.I would recommend this set and I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

I was thrilled to get your product since I could not find it in the stores. I need the 3rd piece the key lock and no one carried it. All the handles I saw in the stores only had the 2 pieces. Very easy to install, however had to return as it did not meet my needs

Looking for so long until I found in Amazon.ca. It was out of stock and the price was right. Now the price is much higher. Very Good

Not impressed paid for a new product received a used product, all parts tossed into a box. The Keylock spindle for the deadbolt had about 1 1/2 inches cut off of it making it unusable.

Door handle came with excess parts to accommodate any door frame, worked out wonderfully!
