XTACER Multi-Use Rain Poncho 83"x55"/XL 3-in-1 Raincoat (Ground Sheet, Shelters, Poncho)

Very durable, large, and affordable poncho. Purchased for a thru-hike in Colorado. Large enough to make a standalone shelter with the right conditions, waterproof and keeps you dry through 5+ hr rainstorms. I used mine as a groundsheet for my tent, and it prevented all condensation from reaching my tent bottom; handy when you're getting rained on every day for 2 weeks.I was one of the few people on trail using a poncho and I'm glad I did. Instead of stopping to throw on a pack cover, rain jacket, and maybe rain pants, I would simply pull out my poncho and cover myself and my pack from head to about midway up my shins. Resists water very well for the price, has grommets on corners and button clasps on the sides.One caveat is that the buttons and grommets rusted considerably after a month of moisture. Upgrading to stainless steel and perhaps making the hood a bit smaller would give this poncho 5 stars.

Used this poncho once so far while training in the rain. It worked great and the snaps are super helpful. I had a large pack on my back and there the poncho over that and kept everything dry.

This thing is handy! We used it for backpacking. Considerably cheaper than other poncho tarps it's lighter weight but definitely not the lightest. It was easy to get out and throw over our gear when it started raining at camp. We didn't get to use it while we were hiking but it's definitely a must for hikers and hunters. I'm thinking of switching to Hammock backpacking and these will be perfect for a shelter over top of the hammock. They're thick and sturdy.

A very comfortable poncho. Has a number of snaps for better fit and can also be used for lean-to. Made of very durable fabric. I was impressed.

I researched virtually every poncho on Amazon in an attempt to find a poncho that has SIX grommets (tie down holes) instead of just one on each corner. They are virtually not existent, for some reason -- except for the XTACER.Why are the two extra grommets important to me? Because they enhance utility of the poncho as a shelter system, and allow me to attach my poncho liner to it, forming a make-shift sleeping bag.For the price, I thought the poncho was going to be rather "cheap", but the materials actually look and feel impressively quality.Quality Materials + Superior Design + Competitive Price = the holy trifecta of VALUE

Never used it yet, but looks right and reliable. Not breathable (it means actually waterproof), pretty short sleeves. I am XL and it fits right. It is a bit too long without my backpack and a bit too short on the back when the backpack is on. All I expected is here. And it is light.

Great value for price. Took it to a trip to the amazon and two guides asked if they could purchase them from us when we left. We gifted them to the guides and they are now in most pictures they take. Great cover rain poncho use, use as tarp over tent, cover gear during night to keep dew off clothes etc and great as tent carpet

Great product, used on west coast fishing trip. Fit was good for me, but most will find this product large. I would suggest you use a waist tie especially in windy weather.

For the price just what I thought it would be. Fits fine though a little tight in the face hole but I am 6'4" and not uncomfortable.

I really really like this poncho I just wish that they would replace the cheapo feeling plastic snap buttons with metal ones… That would make this a homerun

I returned this product as someone else bought me one but I still liked it. Wish it would of been a little thicker

Arrive fast but some stiches or already broke in the box and am not very confident about the fabric you should keep looking

Love it! It’s good quality, large enough to make it into a shelter and it has grommets to tie it down. Just what I needed for birding

Bought one for my camping kit and one for my earthquake kit. Both basically in case of emergency and they look tough enough.

This poncho is fine for my wife, light weight, cameo, either to wear during rain or for sleeping under.

It is what it says but it’s massive
