The beads are either pulled from the existing metal in the setting, or they are soldered on. Similarly the most durable settings like "prong setting" or "bezel setting" are used for the big gemstones to make sure they are held well to the ornament and last long high quality rhodium and e-coating is done on the surface of the product so that the product does not lose its luster, especially as a result of exposure to air or moisture.
