After getting acquainted with the player and reading the product information that was inside the box , I charged it up prior use. I had a minor problem of opening what I thought was the latch which happened to be the swivel hinge attached to the screen.I liked the white interior of player which made it easy to see the button functions. However, I wished there more button functions integrated in the player(perhaps a touchscreen intuitive menu?) and was not so dependent on the remote of which I found clumsy, dated, and cheaply made of lightweight plastic.I also wish the player had the ability to have its battery changed out .This would make it a true standalone portable in a power failure where you may need that extra battery. Importantly, when I played regular DVDs, such as from my Billy Jack movie collection, the video and audio were very good. But when I played some of the Lord of Rings Blu ray disks, I found the colors washed out which was not what I got when I played the same disks from my LG plug in player and from my Sony S5100 Blu ray player. Battery life was about 3 hours , 45 minutes on a single charge with my DVDs. This is a very average player that does not measure up to its price.

Got this for my 2 grandsons for Christmas and the LOVE IT! As a matter of fact, my daughter (their mom) has to just make them shut it off and go do something else!! It has a nice size screen and has worked flawlessly for them. They have a big vacation coming up this summer with a big drive to Disney, so this player with the power cord connected to the car’s 12 Volt power should take them all the way from Houston to Orlando!!I did a lot of research on these min players and picked this one because of its features and good reviews. I’d highly recommend this player as I think I made the right decision to buy.

I just received my NAVISKAUTO portable Blu Ray player and it has been fantastic! Easy to use, clear picture and I now can watch my Blu rays on the go. The seller was very responsive to questions, and will always answer any inquiry you may have! This will make a much appreciated Christmas gift!

I was looking for a decent all-in-one machine for blu-rays, DVDs, and CDs that we could also travel with or hook up to a TV to act as an external player, and this little unit does everything we need it to do! The picture quality on screen is quite good for BRs (slightly less so for DVDs, but I think that's the nature of DVDs anyway), and connecting to a TV via HDMI cable (not included) is a breeze. The sound from the unit is a little tinny, but I've had portable DVD units before so I knew to expect this; external speakers or headphones work great. I did have to contact support once (I couldn't figure out how to stop the sound from playing through the unit AND the connected TV simultaneously) and they responded quickly and effectively (plugging a pair of headphones into the headphone jack will divert the sound from the unit's speakers and result in sound from the connected TV only). The remote control isn't terribly great (I find I have to angle it just right and use just the right amount of pressure on the buttons...there also might be a bit of a lag?) but not a deal-breaker.

We travel as a family over Christmas and love being able to watch dvds. These players work great, and they handled the Blu-Ray technology with no problems. One note: Read the manual - the screen brightness control is not intuitive, but reading the instructions takes two minutes.

The DVD players were given to grandchildren for Christmas and are perfect! Quality and ease of use great!...

I initially had a minor complaint about this purchase, but I contacted the merchant and they were able to rectify it. The unit is well built and has great features with an impressive (and adjustable) screen and playback. Price is right too.

Excellent blu ray player for on-the-go. Attached to a vehicle headrest so my daughter can watch her favorite movies. Pros: Easy setup; portable; good overall quality. Con: Picture can be difficult to see with glare. So far so good.

Good morning,No problems so far. I actually bought it to be used in my home as I couldn't find a Blue Ray disk / DVD player combo that had any good ratings. It was considerably more expensive but that didn't matter to me as I wanted something reliable.If this works out, I will buy a second one for my other TV. And who knows, we might even take one on a trip with us as well.An interesting side note, as I was unpacking it and taking the celo film off of it, I couldn't figure out how to open the player, I thought the hinge was a latch and couldn't get it to open. Silly me, it opened easily on the other side. Thanks again.BH

I bought this for my 10 year old granddaughter and she loves it. She can watch her own movies without her two older brothers bugging her 😁😁. It’s easy to use and has a clear picture.

I bought this DVD player for my brother a year ago. He loves it and uses it all the time. He recently started to have some trouble with it so I contacted the manufacturer Naviskauto by email. They responded very quickly and are replacing the DVD player free of charge. Things happen, but having a company stand behind their product is huge! They now have two additional loyal customers.

I watch a movie to relax after. Work. Easy function buttons just the right size
