I have 3 dogs all three of which can be called power chewers. They love these yak cheese chews. My littlest likes to hid his for later, my oldest is a 12 yo american staffordshire who loves a good lay down and chew. My biggest can work on a chew for 30 minutes and still has plenty left for 5-6 more days of chewing. He is also the one who loves the microwaved - puffed chew. It does make your microwave smell but he is so happy with a puffed chew. Great value, good, super solid chew.

I have bought several packets of this brand over the last several months and have noticed that some packets have a distinctive unpleasant odor of MOLD embedded into the cheese stick itself - while other packets are free of odor. But what keeps me buying this brand is the value of the product for quantity. overall it is a decent buy and the overall quality of the product is very decent.

Good to get the longer ones. This size was good for my 17lb dogs-small enough to carry but big enough so that it would last efficiently. The last bits I throw away which is why a larger one can be a better value. Its quite hard for them to quickly make dents in them but eventually they will diminish. Not as exciting or yummy as a bully stick or similar but will last much longer and probably be easier on the digestive system. Also given lasting time-better value.

It's good time pass for my pup but only 1 piece was really thick and rest are small.

We first learned about this Yak chew from our vet. My dog was dealing iwth several broken teeth from chewing on Nylabones and I asked if there were any alternatives. She said that these were great chews.There are some caveats with these bones: 1) they splinter easily. You'll need to make sure that you watch as your dog/s chew on these and 2) if your dogs have ANY lactose issues, they could potentially get diahreea. You need to limit the number of chews they get. Do NOT leave it lying around, like one would with a Nylabone. Limit their intake and you should be OK.PROS: Dogs love them!CONS: Splinter easily, dogs that are lactose intolerant may have some difficulties after chewing on these.
