The Green Gobbler drain cleaner is one of the best if not the very best drain cleaner I’ve ever used. First it’s not corrosive and it’s biodegradable and the last but most important fact it really works as stated or better. I had a completely clogged bathroom shower/tub drain that had standing water. I used a small amount to start with and let it do it’s thing and came back in about 20 minutes and the water went down so there’s no more water in the tub and then poured approximately 1/2 of the remaining bottle into the drain and let it sit overnight andthen the next morning I poured a bucket of water into the drain to make sure it worked and could hear the water going down though the pipes. At that point I opened the water faucetfully and then the drain was, I would say completely unplugged and put the stopper in and filled the bathtub appropriately 3/4 full, then removed the stopper and the water drained fast.I bought another twin pack of the Green Gobbler on Amazon and this time I’ll be doing some basic maintenance cleaning in that bathroom drain and also in the kitchen sink. I looked at when I brought the bottle I used the first time this drain got clogged up with hair etc. which was almost two years to the month. So I figured that’s how long it took to get completely clogged up and decided to do the maintenance thing before it gets to the point of standing water! Also I read on the back label that you can even use it in your bathroom toilet which is a bigno-no with almost all drain cleaners because of the corrosive chemicals in the drain cleaners. I will recommend this product for anyone who has clogged drains or want to use as a maintenance product before you get to the point of standing water or such. This is the longest review I’ve ever done on a product that I purchased from Amazon.👍

i had a nice hair clog and maybe some soap scum in my bathtub drain. was going to get draino or liquid plummer but they smell so bad and not good for the pipes. so I found this product and we followed the directions. we left the stuff sit down in the drain all night. next morn ran hot water for awhile. took a shower and had water all up to my ankles and thought OH NO it didnt work. well it still was working as i could hear it down in the drain. later that night we used the rest of that bottle(1/2) let it sit over night and the next morn used hot water again, clear as a bell. so far so go. so i would say it worked great.

It worked quite well and easy instructions plus not harmful to my pipes.

I had a slow drain in my bathtub for years, nothing worked to clear the problem. A few days ago, the drain almost stopped, the other products I tried did nothing. I thought I would need to take the pipes apart or call a plumber. I decided I would give Green Gobbler a try and in one treatment it cleared the drain completely. The drain works as it should. Awesome product!

This stuff is amazingI did two treatments on my bathtubThe first one did the job , I just did the second to make sure I got everything out and flowing nicely. I will definitely order more and recommend this to everyone I know . 10 out of 10 for sure. My drain is draining like it's supposed to . Don't waste your money on anything else, this is all you need. I was skeptical about this product, having tried practically everything else on the market with very limited success. My dad used it on his bathtub drain and was very impressed. He recommended I try it for my perpetually clogged bathtub drain. I poured it in and let it sit for about 8 hours, then poured boiling water down the drain, followed by hot tap water. And guess what?! I took a shower this morning and for the first time in years, I didn’t end up standing in ankle-deep water! The drain actually drained! It’s practically a miracle in my mind. If you think it’s hopeless and that you’ve tried everything, give this a try. It may be the one thing that works.

I feel I really need to leave a review. This was recommended to me by a friend. Even though the reviews are overwhelmingly positive on here, and I so so so hoped that this would work for us, too. IT DID NOT AND IT MADE THINGS WORSE. I followed instructions, so the failure was not a result of that.Instead of a slow draining bathroom sink and bathtub, we got a COMPLETELY CLOGGED bathroom sink and bathtub. Two nights ago I was able to declog the sink. I scooped water out from the sink, filled hot water in the sink, plunged, scooped out water again, filled with hot water, plunged, repeat and repeat and repeat - I don't know how many times but finally got it to flow. Our sink now flows nicely (okay, maybe the Green Gobbler did help clean the drain pipe a little? But it should NOT have COMPLETELY CLOGGED the drain in the first place, that just does not make any sense). So now I'm at it with the bathtub, which, again, is completely clogged after using the Green Gobbler. I cannot understand why so many reviews had such fantastic/miraculous results with this, but ours is completely the opposite.....This is an updated review. I upped the one start to three. Okay, so this is what I think.... If you have a slow slow draining sink. Do NOT leave Green Gobbler in your drain pipes for too long. Just flush after 15 mins. I think the longer it's left in, it will be at work too long and actually clog up the pipes completely (for some). I think it's "safer" to just repeat the treatment a few times. I plunged both my bathroom sink and bathtub like there's no tomorrow (I'm not exaggerating, I should have videoed it), and they are draining now. The tub is not 100% but it is better than before.So, if you used the Green Gobbler, and it actually completely clogged up your drain, this is what I did to get the sink and tub flowing again (disclaimer, I'm only sharing what I did in the hope to help, if you get burned by boiling water or Green Gobbler gets splashed on you or something, it is not my fault, do this at your own risk with proper protective gear, gloves, glasses/goggles, etc etc) - First, scoop out the water that's just standing in the sink/tub. Do nothing for a day for like 24 hours (really, I just left it like that, with the Green Gobbler supposedly in the drain pipe). Then the next day, pour in boiling hot water. Plunge (super careful so you don't get burned. For me, when I plunged, I could tell the water being sucked up had the Green Gobbler, because it was all bubbly like suds, so I know GG was in the pipe). Scoop nasty water out. Pour boiling water down again, plunge, scoop. Repeat and repeat and repeat. Take breaks in between of course. *When I plunged, I also cleaned out the gross stuff so they don't go back down the drain. I know one can just say uh this is stupid, you are just plunging like anyone. But I just wanted to share my experience in case if someone really want to give it a shot instead of calling a plumber right away. I honestly think the key is boiling water and letting the GG just sit in the pipe for a looooooong time. And I changed my rating because I do notice both drains drain better now, I do believe that GG did clean the pipes a bit despite "causing" the initial complete clog (for the sink I know the clog was further down the pipe, because I had cleaned the trap and the area that I could reach with a manual snake)....Anyway, that's my two cents! Hope you will not have to go plunge crazy like me, but at least give it a shot if you are not afraid to get a bit dirty and flex some muscles!
