Genuine Toyota Quality Part
The Toyota Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) I purchased is a genuineToyoya part. It was an exact fit in my 2002 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 V6 SR5 Double Cab pickup. Before you purchase, take a digital photo of your TPS to verify the product code and that you are buying the correct part for your vehicle. Do not rely on Amazon's computer system for verification as it showed this part would not fit my vehicle and it was wrong as you can see in the digital photo I uploaded to my review. I sprayed the TPS screws with lubricant a day before removing it. The installation of the TPS is simple and should take maybe 20 minutes or less. My checked engine light is gone. My scan tool showed verified no codes. My Tacoma is operating smoothly and efficiently with the new TPS.

I have found out the hard way to use genuine Toyota electronic parts.
The price for a genuine Toyota part was a great value. Before purchasing genuine Toyota throttle position senser I replaced 3 other sensers. They would last about 2 to 3 months then quit. So far Tacoma is running good again. Gas mileage back to normal.

Functioning Properly
Very satisfied with this sensor. My truck seems to be running better. My old one had "burnt" out (a dead spider had be stuck inside, most likely messing with performance before so!) This new part serves me well. Highly recommended.

watch what you buy from this shop
this item worked for about 3 weeks and quit working i was looking for other faults and waiting for the computer to show air. twice now the air showed code120, I'm disappointed in what you sent all i can say is box was tattered and appeared the tbs had been installed before.
