If you have a modern flat-screen TV and use it with more than one peripheral device (i.e., a Roku, Blu-Ray player, PS, etc.), you know how important it is to have an original TV remote. Since I'm disabled, the old-school option to turn off and on isn't practical. In fact, it was nearly impossible for me to manage the buttons hidden halfway behind the television. The brand name here also added a layer of challenge, because I've never gotten Dynex electronics to successfully pair with generic universal remotes. We had the original remote with our television from when we bought it. Unfortunately it died, and new batteries wouldn't resurrect it. We bid it a tearful adieu before chucking it for good, and set about trying to find an OEM replacement.Unfortunately the original remote for our TV was no longer available. This OEM Dynex remote from Beyution Factory was cited as its successor, which made me a bit nervous. Despite being the same brand name, sometimes replacement remotes don't work as well - or at all. (Former repair tech here. Believe me, I've seen 'em all.) Lucky for us, though, this little remote looks identical to the older model and works far better. We popped in a couple of AAA batteries, pointed it at the TV, and voilá! It worked right off the bat, no problems, and it's continued to work. I played with all the buttons went into the menus and sub-menus, basically checked to make sure it did whatever needed to be done, and it sailed through all tasks with flying colors. The old remote was always a little bit stubborn - you'd have to hit the button 2 or 3 times occasionally to get it to cooperate. It finally got to the point of no response at all even after removing and replacing batteries, shaking, wining and dining it. Shifting to the newer model eliminated that problem altogether.If you're looking to replace a Dynex remote, and your device is on the list of those supported by this model, it's well worth purchasing. My only regret is not doing it sooner.

I've had it for only a little over a year and still have same batteries it came with. + I have a very rough and wild rambunctious 2yr old boy who likes to toss things around and this has held up to him, So that should say enough.

No set up was required. Synced with TV as soon as batteries were installed.

The original remote with the tv just stopped working. Looked on Amazon and put in the details and thus remote came up at a very low price. Put the batteries in and it immediately worked. Had to do nothing. I’m thilled at the price simplicity and availability

The buttons on my mother in laws Dynex remote control were starting to fail. This replaced the original remote with no issues. Some of the buttons were in different positions, but all functioned correctly.

This was a great product and it was worth the money
