Good Smile Kill La Kill: Satsuki Kiryuin (Senketsu Version) PVC Figure

The media could not be loaded. Satsuki Kiryuin is a curious anime character. I've watched a few episodes of Kill la Kill but haven't finished it yet and so far she has been the iron fisted student council president atop her tower looking down at Ryuko Matoi as all her underlings take Ryuko on one by one until that fateful day that they meet in battle. Haven't got that far yet. So I see this figure and it makes me wonder. Like why the heck is she wearing Senketsu (the name of Ryuko's outfit)? I don't know why but I got to say that she looks very good in it. She looks like a bad @ss Japanese school girl samurai that's ultra peeved about something and she's about to kick some @ss. Of course she seem s to always looked mad about something in the anime. Speaking of this I've heard people have been upset about how her face turned out. It does look a little more serene than the prototype picture. Not quite as angry but she still looks super peeved. I think her face looks great and have no complaint. Also some have stated that they don't like the coloring of her hair. It is a little blue and maybe even a little metallic as well. Again though I have no issue with it. I think the way it flows is magnificent and I especially like the one strand of hair that crosses in front of her neck. Cool detail. The details of this figure are spot on. The paint is near perfect as well as the sculpt. I have found no issues. Now my favorite thing about this figure is her butt. I mean wow, did they have fun sculpting that or what? It's a really nice butt. Also the base is wonderful. It makes this an even better figure in my opinion. Just overall it is a piece of artwork that deserves it's place with all my other great figures. I'm happy with it and recommend a purchase.

Really a great figure. Great sculpt, perfectly encapsulates Satsuki from the anime. Figure is a little smaller than I was expecting - there are some other nice Kill La Kill figures out there and I was expecting this to be on the same scale as those, but its proportions are smaller. Other than that, figure is perfect. If you want a nice stand alone Satsuki figure this is a good one.

If you are a Kill la Kill fan, this is a must have piece. Beautiful Satsuki in Senketsu. Only thing that would make it better is if it was a larger scale (1:4 or 1:3).

very pale skin, the picture looks better than the figure . the skin its kinda too pale for the color of her clothes , just kinda doesnt match together.

Beautiful statue, got it for my wife because she's a huge fan of Satsuki (god knows why). Had a small issue where the fingers on her right hand broke off when I tried to put the short sword in. Luckily, they snapped in such a way where I was able to repair them seamlessly with a couple dabs of superglue at the end of a toothpick.
