This book is both comprehensive and easy to absorb, covering anatomy, breath, placement, breaks, scales, and more. There is a lot of detail but it's practical and easy to apply. This book is like a personal vocal coach on paper. Highly recommend!

The book explains it in a clear way even for non-English speakers like me.Finally I am starting to get a better understanding of my voice after years of voice lessons.Much recommended

I bought this for a son that wants to work on his vocal technique. He is happy with it and can use it when no one is at his home so that is perfect. I haven't used it myself so that is all I can say.

I had struggled with my singing for a while, and thought i was losing what talent i had. I bought this book to see if it would help me a little. It is maybe the second or the third of its kind i have bought over the years, so i didn't have my hopes too high. Well, it helped me SO MUCH. My voice has improved so much in a short time. I have really stretched my vocal cords using her techniques. I actually really enjoyed the whole process, and no longer feel like my singing talent is dwindling. My voice is getting stronger. I love the exercises and particularly the breathing techniques.

This product is sooooo great! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it. In the first session I already felt way more confident! There’s no way I’m not going to run through these exercises for 30 days. Did you know your vocal chords are like rubber bands??? It really teaches you about your throat and how toFeel the chords, breathing and pitch! I would have paid 100 Bucks for these lessons and exercises you get online from a code you get in the book. They deserve more than a lousy 20 bucks for this I love it!

Very detailed and easy to follow. This book has helped tremendously and I am only half way through the book. The only gripe is that the CD is NOT INCLUDED even though the listing stays it is. Luckily, I borrowed the CD from my instructor and have been doing the vocal exercises. This book breaks down the mechanics of how the sound is produces and ways to control. Now I am shocked and how great I sound. I highly recommend this book!

An excellent book on singing. Easy to read and follow, smoothly laid out, and covers all key elements of singing properly. Clearly lays out how the voice works, scales and techniques to increase your range and accuracy. Includes an excellent online library of practice excercises. Also lays out the mental thought process involved in singing.Thank you Dena Murray!. I actually look forward to practicing for singing!

This is a delight to read if you want to improve your voice. Cheap, clear, deep and progressive teaching on your voice with exercises and practice. Dena Murray is a brilliant teacher. Be prepared to work hard!
