Futrzane Faux Fur Trim For Hood Replacement - Like Real Fur - Buttons Included

I had purchased a coat because it was warm, but was disappointed in its appearance. It needed a hood ruff. I found this online and ordered it in Rusty Fox to coordinate with the colors of the coat, its lining and my hair. It was easy to attach, and voila! Now I can't wait for snow! The ruff is soft, and feels very much like fur but without the guilt.

I ruined my Ralph Lauren coat's faux fur hood, by putting the coat in the dryer. I ordered this replacement faux fur piece, cut the old one off and attached the new one with the buttons supplied. So easy!! I love my coat again! This faux fur is just gorgeous, and comes in a lot of color choices.

I bought the trim in black but I will get the grey and burgundy or purple next time as I imagine they look just as awesome. I am very satisfied with my purchase. Pics are the transformation my hoodie went through from the burnt trim to the new black trim fur I installed. If you are having difficulty sewing or where to begin; youtube has some good sewing trim fur videos. What helped me was measuring the space the lapels on the trim were from each other so I knew where to sew in the buttons. Everything was even. Hope this helps and enjoy! I was SO happy to find such beautiful faux fur trim for the hood on my vintage jacket. It is VERY important to me to have cruelty-free products. When the package arrived I anxiously ripped the bag open......and froze. It looked like "the real thing." 🤤Slowly, I started spreading the hairs apart and looked way down in the bottom, looking for evidence of real fur. I saw nothing, though it was particularly dense. Then I pulled one of the hairs apart, looking for more sign. Finally I noticed that the hair that I stretched had a wavy crinkled appearance to it. Hair doesn't do that, plastic does. 😃 YAY!!! I LOVE IT! It's more beautiful than i expected. And it came with loops on the back of the trim, and buttons to stitch onto the hood, so it can be removed for laundering.I am BEYOND happy and will be purchasing in other colors.

Wow, better than my original trim! Wasn’t sure about ordering this. What my original trim got destroyed by the dryer stupid me. Should never have put it in the dryer. But look at this amazing trim it makes my coat look classy and expensive. I have gotten more compliments on this. All it took was a true stitching a few buttons and putting it back on. It’s better than I even imagined.

I purchased the Brown with white option, I wish everyone posting pictures would say which one they purchased as I was trying to get the same one as one of the previous reviews. After a decent amount of time trying to figure it out, I still didn't choose the same one.HOWEVER, the one I chose is still really nice. The quality is great and the color is stunning. Even better than what most faux fur lined jackets come with. It's not the one I thought I chose but I'm still going to use it and I'm still quite pleased with it.Only down side is that you have to be home when its delivered since its shipped from poland... That didn't end up being a huge deal for me but fair warning make sure someone is home to receive it.

These are very nice furs. I bought several furs in different colors and sizes. All of the furs were very nice. I bought a new jacket that had fur around the hood. I liked the jacket but the fur around the hood was very ratty. I bought this fur to add to the jacket. Although the Small was slightly smaller than the existing fur on the jacket, the buttons lined up with the loops on the fur. For sizing, the fabric on the underside of the fur is 30" for the Medium furs and 25 1/2" for the small fur. I bought 3 different colors - Gray, Steel, and Siberian Silver. The Siberian Silver is the lightest. The fabric is light gray. The base of the fur is dark/black. The hairs are mostly white with black tip highlights. The steel is darker. The fabric is dark gray. The base of the fur is dark/black. It is a mix of black, white, and gray/silver hairs. The gray is the darkest of the 3 fur colors that I looked at. The fabric is black. The base of the fur is black. The hairs are mostly black with some white, gray/silver, and some brown. I'm very happy with this purchase.

WOW!I purchased a lovely coat last year, and normally my coats dont tend to last very long due to the hood fur becoming all weathered and untidy from use. I thought I may just buy a new one, but couldnt really find anything that fit as well as my old coat, so I had a look for a new fur trim, with the intention of using my sewing machine to attach it.I stumbled across these trims on the off chance, and thought "Hey, why not".There are so many colours to choose from, and the realistic pictures really pulled me in. I didn't want a fur hood that looked too fake, as my orginal fur trim looked extremely real, and matched the high end coat perfectly.Upon receipt of my new trim (which was delivered extremely quickly), I was shocked at the quality! So much so, that I was afraid at first that it was real fur!!! After doing a full check and investigation into the lining etc, I was happy to discover that it is indeed fake, whilst not looking so.The colours were exactly like in the photograph, and even the direction of fur was the same.It took about 5 - 10 mins to sew on the little buttons (provided with your new trim) onto my existing coat, and then pop the trim on. I gave it a little haircut (as I don't like the pointed top, just personal preference) and it was done! So easy, anyone can do it! The trim has stayed on now for over a month, and with constant use, still looks as good as new.Overall I would say the quality is top notch, the value for money is unbelievable, and the look is just fantastic.I will be back to purchase more colours, I'm sure!

I took a chance on ordering a husky grey hood trim to replace one on my coat that had got ruined in the dryer. I ordered a bespoke length which was perfect and it looks lovely. My coat now has new life, which I'm so pleased about as I love it and couldn't find anything else I liked as much. So if I ever need another one, I'll definately be coming back! The photo below shows my old matted hood and the quality of the new one fur.

My boring parka has been transformed <3I love that it came with tags and buttons. Only downside was the tags were not lined up on both sides; so instead of being able to do 2 buttons in one go (one either side) I had to sew the individual buttons on one side, then measure where the buttons had to go on the other side. It took twice as long because of this but was so worth it!The fur is big and soft and will definitely keep me snug when I head off to Iceland. I love that my very sensible coat is now more fashionable with this fur and I’d now wear it out on the high street!When I’m bored of this colour I’ll definitely swap for another :)Highly recommend!

I'm one of those cynical shoppers that don't expect too much from an item, despite there being a multitude of glowing reviews present and assurances from the supplier that this is a supreme product and all that other blah blah blah. HOWEVER...this is an absolutely LUSH fur trim! So much so, that I actually Googled to see if there's a way to tell if it is in fact genuine fur because this faux fur stuff is that soft and plush!!! I have now ransacked my cupboards to determine how many of these I need to buy in order to replace all the other terrible, synthetic-feeling replacements I've bought in the past...how much faux fur can anyone actually wear!!! I bought a Siberian Brown to attach to my olive-green Spyder jacket and it matches PERFECTLY (just the right amount of fawn/mink flecking)! Wonderful, wonderful product!

I bought this to replace a rather skinny fur collar which had turned an odd shade of green.I ordered two colours in size S. Nut (on the gold coat) and Siberian wolf (on the purple child’s coat) I wasn’t sure which colour would look best in my gold coat so decided to use the “rejected” one on my daughters purple coat (5years old).The fur trim comes with a bag of loose buttons and it has, at intervals, small elastic loops on the back.The idea is you sew the buttons on at corresponding intervals then loop the elastic bands over to attach the hood. I was really lucky with my gold coat and the existing buttons (press studs) just so happened to be spaced at almost the same intervals as the loops so no sewing was necessary!The photos also show how I made the fur trim shorter (which may be necessary depending on the hood size) for my daughters coat and how I sewed on the buttons.

This product is excellent. I have an Abercrombie and Fitch coat and the faux fur on it got ruined in the wash.I ordered the Siberian Wolf colour and it has arrived exactly as pictured. Very good quality. It doesn’t look cheap at all. In fact it’s much better than the original faux fur that the coat came with.It’s breathed new life into my coat. It no longer looks tired and worn. It’s like having a new coat!The fur comes with the loop holes attached and some buttons that you will need to sew onto your hood. It was really easy and I am no seamstress!I’m so much more conscious of the environment now and I didn’t want to throw out a perfectly good coat because the hood trim was ruined. I’m so pleased with the results!Very quick delivery. Highly recommended.

These are beautiful real looking furs, soft and hairy. I ordered several colours - if you are looking for grey - Siberian Grey is stunning, and brown - the Rusty Fox is gorgeous brown colour.Very easy to attach it comes with buttons to sew on and elastics on the fur to attach and remove easily when washing.Fab item - highly recommended!

I required a customised size of this item, and after experiencing some difficulty with the ordering process, after contacting the seller - this was resolved. The item arrived today 3 days before the estimated delivery time which was excellent, and I have to state that the item exceeded my expectations and is lovely. Well made and supplied with the necessary attachments which are easy to use. Can thoroughly recommend this items and the customer service from the seller also exceeded expectations.

I am delighted with my faux fur hood trim. I previously bought a black one but felt it didn't contract enough against my black winter coat. I had no preoblem returning it and was given a prompt refund. I purchased a grey one and am very delighted with it as it has completely revamped my last year's winter coat. I would definitely recomend and purchase again.

I wanted to turn my much loved Barbour jacket hood into a parka style one and I really cannot praise this product enough for doing just that. Unlike a previous review, I found that the buttons could be sewn in opposite pairs (perhaps they have re-designed it) and then the fur attached very neatly onto the buttons, which are then hidden by the fur. My own pack was one button short but I had some similar so that didn’t matter. I dare say they would have sent another pack of buttons if I had asked. The jacket now looks fabulous and will keep my face and head warm...I hate tight hats ! This really is an excellent product!

What a fabulous product. This is one of several faux fur trims I’ve purchased from Futrzane and as ever the quality is excellent. The hood trim is easy to attach with the supplied buttons and had transformed my coat. Andrew worked tirelessly and patiently to resolve an ordering problem and both product and customer service are first rate.

Thiz iz a WOW factor the white iz so white itz beautiful & lookz amazin on my new white maxi coat it came with a brownish fur & I didn't like it @ all but I luv-d the coat so thiz iz y I decided 2 try thiz I can't W8 2 wear it... It lookz so good & I'll b the only 1 with thiz style cuz of the change I made 2 it so a big thankz 2 the seller.

This is lovely, wasn't happy with the fur on a coat I bought for my daughter, typical looked nothing like the picture situation, I purchased this to attach instead hoping it would look nicer and it is fabulous, very thick full fur and pretty soft pink colour exactly like the picture, couldn't be more pleased.

My hood trim has just been delivered so not fitted to my men's black parka coat yet, but it's going to look amazing it's so full & luxurious it's exceeded my expectations it says on the packaging to shake but looked great before I did so.The faux fur, lining, loops & buttons are all exactley as described I would 100% recommend this item. It also arrived a day earlier than expected. I have previously ordered a hood trim from another seller which was the total opposite to this I knew before even opening the package it wasn't what I wanted as it was in a flat envelope.
