FIT SPIRIT Exercise Yoga Mat Gym Bag with 2 Cargo Pockets

I bought 4 of these mat bags. These work for the smallests, cheapest end type of yoga /exercise mat. Should you have a good quality yoga / exercise mat that is customarily 1/2" thicker, then these won't fit. They are absolutely cute. I will use them to bring beach towels to the beach and store the car keys.(Design is not just about drawing a cute little tree and choosing a color, design is mostly about functionality.

2 stars because it seems like a well made bag. Only 2 stars because it is in no way big enough for either of my mats. The 25" measurment listed in the description is the bag flat out with the ends folded out. The actual storage area measures 23" on the outside of the bag. This bag does not fit all 3mm-6mm mats as the description claims. My 5mm 23" wide mat will not fit. My 3mm 25" wide mat might fit if I fold it in half lengthwise before I roll it. I'm very disappointed. Keep looking if you have a thicker mat, even if it is only 23" wide.

This bag is perfect for when I am going from home to my class, so I just need space for a standard 6 mm Yoga mat, with my hand towel, or yoga mat towel in the space at the top (stand bag in its end to push down the mat). The two pockets are great for my keys, iPhone, yoga socks, and strap.It’s not a gym bag, just space for mat and few essentials. The fabric is sturdy, and zippers are good quality. I expect to get several years of use from this washable bag. I don’t see any reason for concern about frayed fabric ends or others signs of potential trouble that we look for. Yes I recommend this bag.

This was a perfect find! Stylish, with convenient pockets, strong, durable fabric!I've been doing yoga for over 20 years and could never find a mat that fit my needs and wasn't over priced. I've had to make my own, but was needing a replacement. A young woman in class had a really cute carrier, with pockets! I asked where she purchased it, and if it was expensive. Amazon!!! Wow, I was amazed, but more so at the price!I have received compliments on my mat. I don't take a purse when I go to the gym so the two sizable pockets are very convenient for my needs: car keys, cell phone, small wallet, I can also fit sunglasses, tissue, hand sanitizer.The one thing I must mention, the zipper pulls are frail, and broke immediately. After trying to fix it, I attached a key ring and it's fine and sturdy. Have not laundered it yet , so I cannot speak to the durability of the graphics.

Well made bag!!!I bought the black Fit Spirit Tree of Life Exercise Yoga Mat bag, and I am so pleased with it. It fits my extra thick memory foam yoga mat very nicely. (measurements are Thickness 7 mm, width is 24 inches, Length 72 inches) The Zipper is very strong and has two zips making it easier to get your yoga mat inside. It has two pockets on each side big enough to store yoga socks, yoga strap, smart phone, personal items, keys, ect.. The adjustable strap is really nice, you can keep it at the shorter length to throw over your shoulder or make it longer to wear across your chest. Fabric is made is a 100 percent cotton. Bag needs to be washed in cold water and dried conventionally. The tree of life print beautiful and will not peel or fade off easily. Its a fun, practical, and convenient way to store your yoga mat and or travel with mat.

I have a big yoga mat and the way the picture and description was laid out that I would have room in my yoga bag. It wasn't even the complete opposite the yoga bag couldn't fit around my yoga mat because the mat was to thick not long. Even if it was long it still wouldn't have fit. If you have a thin yoga mat it's worth it. If you yoga mat is long and/or thick it's not worth it

At first I thought this wouldn't fit the mat(s) we had, but it did snug right in there and zipped up *fairly* easily. I was concerned that the stress on the zipper, might cause tearing, long term, but the seams eased out and the fabric relaxed and it's actually a great fit for our mat. These are fairly sturdy mats, a little bit higher thickness, but not too crazy. I wouldn't recommend this bag for extra long or extra thick mats, but for a medium weight, it's a great fit and beautifully made!

I am in love with this Yoga bag! Granted, it is the first bag that I've ever purchased; I typically crochet my own, but when I saw this one I had to have it. My currently yoga mat is a Gaiam 3mm, and the bag fits with plenty of leftover room. However, I just ordered a 6mm yoga mat and I think it'll fit, but I can't say just yet. When it gets in (might be a while), I'll update my post if it doesn't fit.

Concerned about size because of some of the other reviews, but I have a 'Yoga Mad Warrior II Plus' mat and it fits in the bag beautifully. The bag looks to be well made and the outer pockets could be handy too. I'm very happy with my purchase!

Love this bag for travelling with my yoga gear, lots of handy pockets and a comfortable adjustable strap. Colour is slightly different to the picture being a little more towards a more red purple, but I prefer it.

Fits my yoga mat and all the bits I like to take with me. The pockets are handy and I like the little 'button hole' for attaching a key ring or hanging a water bottle.

Strong canvas, enough room for my yoga mat. Looks like it will last longer than my last bag (from a different company), which only made it 2 months before the zip gave out. Lovely colour
