Easy to use

Many different sizes. Like the colors for easy identification.

I bought these to repair the fins from the back of my window A/C unit. It's 10,000 BTU they absolutely did not help at all, actually bent some fins trying the different sizes none were a match they are too big. I ended up just using a cheap harbor freight hard plastic bristled brush that comes in a multi pack for maybe under $5 bucks which instantly repaired in one swipe most of the less damaged areas. I used a small flat bladed screwdriver to carefully unbend the more heavily bent areas (one area was mashed the blades/fins touching together) and then used the bristle brush to finish and straighten them out that worked great, but this cheap plastic tool actually was too large and would bend the aluminum fins, way over priced too not worth returning but definitely useless for a window A/C unit. Also it began to become damaged the metal ate away at the cheap plastic comb I don't think they would be durable even if they worked for larger gapped fins. This was not a good buy. Go with a scrubbing brush sort of like a toothbrush but sturdier plastic not metal bristled for cleaning auto parts works way better than these.

The product worked OK for small bent fins on the air conditioner. Maybe it’s just not made for deep gouges in the fins takes time to use to get the fingers in each fin. Would probably work better if I only had small bends for my situation. I probably needed something a little stronger.

Had a large area of bent fins on my Wall AC Unit from where it was set face down on a screwdriver, I ordered this and after working my way through the combs I found the one that fit perfectly for my unit, slid right into the spacing between fins. I carefully worked the comb up and eventually straightened all the pins. You have to be careful and slowly straighten the fins gently, if you just jamb the comb in the fins and yank on them they will tear, but if you take you time they will straighten back out.

Perfect kit to restore your window AC unit to full potential, the external fins are critical for heat dissipation and if yours are smashed or bent flat then it will not work to its fullest potential and could even cause it to ice over or blow warm air. Also good for any mechanic who has had to remove a radiator to access another part, they always get a little damaged in the process, this solves the issue and keeps it from becoming a eyesore for customer cars or even a sorce of overheating in the worst case scenario.

Didn’t work for me. No matter what size I used it would just push the fins down more.
