Perfect lock if you are looking for easy installation and great quality
Ease of installation:We used it to replace a lock on our fish house door and it was such an easy process. It came with instructions that were so easy to follow. Lock quality:We have this lock currently on our fish house that sits on out on the lake in the middle of winter. The lock has never gave us any problems even when it sees the negative temperatures on gross weather conditions.

Well made
Wow, very heavy, it feels mechanically solid. I'm really surprised for the price.

Arrived On Time, Appears Very Sturdy
Received RV Door Handle/Lock, On Time, As Promised. (2 Days)The Assembly appears to be very Sturdy & Operates Very Smooth.Installed in approximately 20 minutes. All Necessary Hardware, was included.Be aware that there are (4) 3/4” long screws & (4) 7/8” long screws, to be used for the Outside Door Handle to Inside Door Handle Assembly. You will use either the 3/4” or the 7/8” screws, depending on the thickness of your particular door. These screws are in separate zip-lock bags.As there is only 1/8” difference in length, it is Very Easy to use the wrong screws, on your initial assembly. (If you use the longer screws, on a narrow door, the screw will bottom out, before tightening the assembly. There are NO INSTRUCTIONS included with the Door Handle.I rated this RV Door Handle/Lock Assembly at 4 Stars, due to No Instructions Included, Screws Not Labled for Length, & I cannot Rate for Durability.

Works perfectly!
I had some trouble installing but it had everything to do with my failing eyesight and not the product. The lock fit as it should, I just had trouble lining the screws up with the holes. Again, that was totally on me. Works great!

Exact replacement
This past fall i had to drill out the lock on my brother-in-law's lock because we courgettes the key to work. Replacement was cheaper than a locksmith by far! This was an exact replacement! 10 minutes and we were all done!

Fits Door Is All It's Got Going For It
One month of use and ready to put old lock back on that lasted 9 years with only one lock tumbler starting to fail. The latch likes to stick and not retract when closing the door, you might get 10 closes just fine then all of a sudden it acts like the deadbolt is out and the latch doesn't retract when hitting the strike plate. Pull the handle interior or exterior and the latch retracts and door closes, might act up next close or stick a few more times. Then just works like it should for a day or more then bang when you swing door and latch doesn't retract properly. I have disassembled it twice and can not find why it acts up every so often.Flattening the strike plate somewhat helped a little and adjusting it inward or outward just controls how tight the door is to the jamb. The keys provided have several very narrow key-way cuts down the length of the key versus the factory locks from Global Lock, and you have to align it perfectly to slide in with out jamming in the lock cylinder.Graphite powder lubes the tumblers some but the narrow key-way cuts are the real issue, especially when reaching up from the ground or first step to start inserting the key, you must align it just right for it not to stick and be off alignment for the multiple narrow grooves of the key-ways.Now after a month of use being on our summer trip and dealing with its issues I've noticed the paint is wearing off as shown in the pictures, no one wears any kind of rings to have caused this issue, just poor cheap paint not a durable powder coat finish.Retired general contractor so I know how to install a lock set and what a properly designed product should work and wear like, such a shame everything is just made cheaper all the time now. I'd try another brand if your looking to replace your factory lock on your RV trailer.
