My 1st grade twins love using story cubes to make up stories, so I figured we would try these as a fun alternative. I was super pleased when I opened them! The figurines are smaller than I expected - less than an inch tall - but they are a made of a pleasant squishy material. They aren't super squishy like mochi toys, but more the consistency of a gummy bear. They are such a fun texture when reaching into the bag, and it makes it so that whoever is grabbing one can't use the shape to try and get a specific one. The cards aren't the best quality - the cardboard is a bit thin - but the pictures are clear and detailed. My kids immediately dumped out all the pieces and cards and spent a long time just playing and making up scenarios and stories. 100% win.

It's a bit pricey for what you get, but still sparks interest with the kiddos.

This was a nice change up from the board games we normally play with my 5 year old. Some of the pieces took us a bit to figure out what they were for sure but after getting the hang of it, the game has quickly become a favorite. It is easy to get out and travel with and you can play for 5 minutes or an hour. Always fun to see what they will think up with the pieces.

I ordered this game to play with my grandsons, ages 8 and 10. We had a blast playing together! The figures and environment cards encouraged creativity. The two of them continued playing on their own. The packaging comes with a nice cloth bag to keep all the small figures secure until the next time.

Fantastic, unique premise! Disappointed in the quality of the figures, but doesn't impact game play

My son is 3 and he was so curious to see the tiny figures. Obviously he has no idea how to tell story by using the figures and card at first time as he has no concept about imagination. When we played at second time, he really tried to tell his first story which is a very good start.

Love the concept of this game and that kids of various ages can play. When I opened the game (50 figures and 24 story cards) and expansion pack (4 story cards and 14 figures), I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the game. The story cards are heavy cardboard (similar to the coasters non-profits sometimes send) and had to be removed from the backing before play. I would have liked to have the cards delivered already to go as they were in the expansion pack. Additionally, the figures are poorly painted and made from something like gummy bears. I've uploaded a number of photos so folks can see what I mean. Note that in the second picture of the figures, you can see dark spots on the box left from the figures. BE CAREFUL where you play with them. I can see these being full of fuzz/lint/whatever they touch. Hard plastic would have been much better as they would be easy to wash. I don't see how these can be kept clean. Overall, really disappointed in the purchase.
