After the learning curve, a valuable tool!
It took me a about an hour to learn all the little tips and tricks to make these work better. But by the time I figured it out, I was praising this little tool's existence! After 3 hours of pierogi-making, I realized I would never try to make dumplings without it again.THE PROBLEM: If you don't know the tricks, your dough will stick to the mold. The first time I tried it, my dough suctioned right into the mold. Like play-doh stuck to a toy. I tried adding oil - that made it worse. I tried adding flour - that made it a little better. But the tips below were what ultimately helped me turn this machine into a powerhouse.TIPS:* Start with the bigger mold. It is easier to use for beginners. Switch to the smaller mold after you hit your groove with the big mold.* Cut out all of your dough circles (for one batch) first. Let them dry out for a minute or two. Then flip them TOP-SIDE down onto the maker. This means that the fresh/sticky side of your dough will face inward and the dry side will face the mold. Once I figured out this trick, this mold was SO much easier to use. Unfortunately, it means you can't pre-fill all of your circles before placing them on the mold.* I found that it was much easier to just use a cup to cut out my circles. Luckily these circles are close to standard cup sizes. Find a cup slightly bigger than your mold, as your dough tends to shrink a little once you cut it.* DO NOT OVERFILL your dumplings. It works much better with just the right amount, but not too much filling.*Add a little flour to the edge of your mold or the bottom of your dumpling dough (but not the inside of your dumpling) to help keep it from sticking. I only had to flour every dozen or so.*Don't be worried about lining your dough up perfectly the first time you fold it over. Dumpling dough is typically very forgiving, so I would do a first stamp to start it out. I'd adjust the crooked edges of the dough after opening the mold, and then do a second stamp that made it look beautiful.By the time I was finished with my 100 dumplings, I couldn't imagine making them again without it. All the dumplings came out evenly sized, with a beautiful crimp, and it was SO FAST!!!Good luck and I happy cooking!

Lesson learned....
Cutter roller thing is noted as adjustable, but looked at and can't see any way it could be adjusted or modified to accommodate the larger mold. Possibly could use the backside of the larger mold to make the size needed. This really defeats the purpose of the roller cutter thing and defeats my investment. I ended up doing by hand and a fork to pinch my empanadas together. Don't waste your time on this as it'll remain push in the back of the cabinet to not see light again as mine will.

Nice addition to my appetizer making tools
I like the larger press. For my needs the small just won't hold enough filling. I have not used the rolling reel yet. No directions included. All seem sturdy and like they will hold up. I have made spinach and feta cheese empanada s and mini apple pies. They will be useful to me primarily to make small quantities of appetizers. Worth the money.

Works, but breaks 1st time!
This thing looked amazing! Saw videos on FB and whatnot. Got it the other day, first pressing of a potsticker and the handle breaks on one side! My wife used this, not me and was sorely disappointed! The cutter is neat but doesn’t always cut perfect circles and they don’t always fit all the way in the press, and it only cuts for the small one.Could’ve been a lot more sturdy and lasting at this price, but I guess that’s what you get... ☹️

Not as sharp
Bought this to cut down time in making fresh dumplings, xio long bao etc.. Unfortunately the gadgets is not that sharp so the cuts are not even. Disappointed in this purchase.

Great Chinese dumpling press
We previously had a plastic Chinese dumpling press, but that no longer seems to be available. Looking around, we found this one. It works great! Pinching is always the hard part for Chinese dumplings, and this takes all the work out of that. We buy the round wrappers from a Chinese grocery store, and they work well with this press.

Did the job for what I intended
Product is very thin material but does do the job expected but probably not a long term use item

Dumpling maker did not work for me
I am not saying this is bad or good, but in my opinion, it was not what I was hoping it would be. I returned it.
