Regardless of my poor installation skills, after the 3rd time I was able to put one that should keep the screen glued. Hard to peal one side made this job hard.The first one that was installed failed. The glue is not that strong, I was about to use super glue.

These adhesive will not give you your water resistant anymore but it's decent for the price

I work on a lot of electronics, laptops, cameras, printers, phones etc, so I am not new to working on small electronics. But this product was a pain to install, difficult to remove the adhesive backing, and difficult to place on the watch. Most of that has to do with the design from Apple, I realize that. But what makes it a 1 star product is that I had to cut and splice two of them together because they weren't wide enough to fit my wife's 38mm watch. And in the end, couple days later, the screen popped back off. Replaced it again, cleaned surfaces with rubbing alcohol, used a heat gun to slightly heat up the adhesive before laying it down on the watch, everything possible to give it its best chance at working, and still only lasted a day. By then, the ribbon cable connecting the screen had enough I guess, because it won't turn on past the little apple screen. Ended up buying her a new watch instead of trying to further the repair mess.This is not a easy repair to successfully do, and this product made it that much harder. If you have no experience with small electronics, bite the bullet, and either have a professional do it or buy a new one.

Decided to purchase this after the screen of my Apple Watch Series 4 came loose. After more than 40 minutes of trying to take the adhesive tape off and sticking to the metal ring inside of the watch, I finally was able to place the screen back on top and let it hold and stick for another hour. But after the application, the screen came loose again after mild movement and it seems the adhesion on this tape is not strong enough to hold the screen in place. This product does not work and I’m pretty confident that the other 5 star reviews were written by the seller. An alternative which fixed my issue is purchasing T-8000 glue and apply that to the same inside metal ring of the apple watch “case” instead and then place the screen on top -let the glue dry for 2 hrs and you’re good. You’ve been warned and good luck!
