Nice fit, worked out well
This turned out really good for me. My side panels are 27 1/2 x 27 1/2 and this fit nicely. I had more than enough for all four sides. Swamper seems to be working wonderfully. This arrived before the scheduled date, too

Much cooler than aspen
I removed the aspen and put in two layers of this and it seems I am getting about 5 degrees cooler air from my swamper. It seems to keep my home 3 or 4 degrees cooler. This makes a huge difference in the high desert climate of Reno Nevada. I particularly like how clean it is and how easy it is to work with. Also, it's uniformity assures that all air is being humidified uniformly, whereas with aspen, there were often concentrations and gaps in the coverage. Air flow through two layers is probably a little less than with aspen, which means a little higher temp difference between discharge temp and room temp. It also means the fan runs a little quieter, which is appreciated.

For the price, you get a LOT of cooler padding!
This is great stuff. Not sure how it will compare to the grass pads that came with my swamp cooler, but you sure get a lot of this in their big roll of padding for the price! My only complaint (?) is that these pads are VERY THIN, compared to the grass mat pads. I'm thinking the water will just zip right thru them quickly, and there won't be much evaporation to provide cool air. Also, being thin, they don't hold well in the frame, and tend to slip down, despite the steel 'pokey' things that are supposed to hold them up. We'll see how they perform next summer. Right now, I have not run the cooler with these new pads installed (because its 39 degrees here in Las Vegas!).I may try to double up the pads to make them thicker if they don't cool as well as the grass mat pads.

Not cool
Used these for about a year, got to check the temperature coming out, on a 97 degree day it was putting out a temperature of 81. Just put in some aspen pads the temperature coming out of them is 72.

Good deal and works well
These work well. I have to cut them to size but it saves me money buying them in the roll.

Used for purpose other than swamp cooler
Used to filter my pond. Do not like these pads for swamp cooler - straw pads work much better.

Way better than the Aspen stuff.
This cooler pad is amazing. No more mess and it is so much more efficient than the natural aspen. Thickness is a little on the thin side, but I think the efficiency of the material does just and much if not more than the thicker natural pads. I will definitely be buying again if this ever wears out.
