The unit works great and the picture quality is fine for the level of technology The camera housing is robust and should do well outside in the weather on the back of my 5th wheel camper.I only have two issues that I think they could improve.1. The "C" Bracket that the camera mounts to needs to have longer arms so the camera can rotate more without the back part of the bracket hitting the antenna swivel joint. When mounted on a flat vertical surface you can only tip the camera up so far and then the antenna knuckle hits the bracket.2. The 12 Volt extension cables that come with the camera and the display are very small gauge wire 20 gauge I believe and it needs to be at list 18 Ga, 16 would be better for longevity. The small wires are hard work with and won't last long. Also that extension cable for the display should have a 12 volt accessory plug installed on it so you can plug it into your cars 12 volt female outlet. I had to buy one and then install it on the cable.It's working great however I do notice that when driving near some industrial or commercial areas the screen blanks out due to extempranious radio signals that seem to overpower that unit causing the screen to say "No Signal". Once I drive past those areas it comes back on strong and good.

Camera and Monitor appear to be of high quality. The system worked OK when 1st installed. After a 500 mile trip, the system now displays all green colors (trees, lawns, etc) in bright pink. I have tried to adjust the color setting on the monitor without any significant improvement. The product manual is lacking significant detail and there is no reference to any Customer Support listed in the manual. The VEISE products are made in China - the only available support appears to be via E-Mail to Sales2@veise.cn. I will see if they can supply a correction to the "Pink Color Problem" - If they can provide a correction, I will update my review, otherwise I will have to send product back to AMAZON inside the 30 day window.Update - About a week after I sent an E-mail to the manufacturer VEISE, they did respond with an E-Mail- They asked if I had "fixed" the problem ! (No other information was provided - Also, No contact information for the U.S. Distributor was provided, so I had to return the complete system for credit)

The unit was shipped very promptly and arrived in perfect condition. It has taken me some time to get this system installed, not because it is difficult, but because our travel trailer has been in storage for the winter.The actual install was quite simple and straightforward, the major issue was locating and connecting to a 12V electrical source, for the camera power, at the rear of the trailer. I connected to the tail/marker light circuit. I normally drive with the lights on when towing, and the camera will then be on, but will shut off when the unit is parked, and/or the trailer disconnected.Once this was done, and the monitor installed on the dash of our pick-up, (I installed a cigar lighter type adapter to the power cord for this) the unit turned on, and began operating perfectly. The picture is very clear, and has a good wide-angle view, and indicator bars for gauging how close you are to objects behind you. I'm very pleased with the unit.

not a good product it is low quality and cheap. you are forced to use only one channel to send video signals so as soon as you get to traffic practically useless form all the interfering signals and the majority of the buttons do not do anything at all. and it doesn't even come with a manual that worth anything it does not tell you how to install anything or do anything with it excited for basic operation which doesn't work anyway.

If I could give this less than 1 star I would. The camera is always foggy, the menu button on the display has no function, the display image is opposite of the direction in which you’re turning, and just try to find any on line instructions. Very poor quality and very poor customer service.I just installed it and now I’m looking for a replacement.It certainly won’t be like this pos.

I have had this now for a year and a half (give or take) and while it has saved me a couple of times I do have a complaint. The camera is more water resistant than water proof. On the last two major trips the camera was fogged over cutting down its usefulness. I have had to disassemble, clean, reseal, and reassemble. When clean it works great but needs a more waterproof camera

The monitor/camera looses sync occasionally if not connected and is difficult to reestablish. Have installed on the rest of my 36 ft 5th Wheel. Had to make up a test lplatform to move monitor closer to camera to reestablish sync. The customer support however has been great

We put the camera in the back window of our camp trailer. The first time we used it we were pulling another trailer behind the camp trailer. It was terrific. Nice, clear picture. We then just left it in the camper window and now we can see when someone gets too close behind us.
